Katie sat in her and Emmett's room relaxing. The other Cullens had left to go hunting and she's at home by herself. Well that's what she thought. Emmett didn't go as he wanted to spend some alone time with Katie. Emmett walked in to see Katie in her nightgown. "Hey." Katie turned to see Emmett.
"Emmett?" Katie asked confused. "I thought you were gone hunting."
"I went earlier." He tells her as he made his way to her and put his arms around her. "I wanted some alone time with you." Katie turned and smiled at him.
"Really?"
"Yep." He replies as he kissed her. Katie smiled as she kissed back.
"Well than what do you have in mind?" She asked. Emmett smirked at he question knowing what his plan.
"I have a few things first." Katie smiled as her and Emmett laid on their bed as they made love that night. ~~~ The next morning she got dressed and walked downstairs to see Jasper and Emmett playing chess. She walked over and moved a piece that took Jasper's Queen. "Check mate." Was all she said making Emmett and Jasper to look at her.
"Not fair, babe."
"All's fair in love and war." Katie said as she walked out to the balcony. 'Peace at last.' She thought as Emmett walked up behind her and wrapped her in an embrace.
