It's been a month since the Cullens left. Katie's parents are happy that Emmett promised to wait for Katie. Katie was still the same old person and talked to some other classmate as Bella acted like she was depressed. Katie rolled her eyes knowing it's just a show. Jessica even had the never to ask why wasn't she heartbroken and told her the truth. Than one day Bella decided to hang out with her old 'friends' and she saw the two rings on Katie's fingers and became enraged. ~~~ "Katie, dear, Bella is here." Katie rolled her eyes and walked down there. She saw Bella who was smiling and decided to see what she wanted.
"Can I help you?" She asked.
"Yes, I saved some bikes from the junkyard and wanted to know if you want to come with me to meet up with Jacob."
"Sure." Katie agreed. She hopes and prays that this boy didn't have feelings for the obsessed Bella Swan. ~~~ Katie watched as Bella hugged a boy. She walked over with him and smiled. "Hey Jacob."
"Hi." Katie replied.
"Hey, I heard the Cullens left. Are you okay."
"Yes and I'm actually engaged actually." Katie said proudly as she shows the ring off. Bella glared at the blonde and wished to kill her. Jacob smiled at the ring.
"Congrats."
"Thank you." Katie said. ~~~ Katie arrived home and called Emmett. The two talked forever and Katie explained how much she missed him and wishes for him to come home. He wished for the same, but promised he will come home for her soon. "How's your day been?"
"It was good."
"Talk to Emmett."
"Yep. He said he will come back for me even if it meant he had to move out."
"That boy truly loves you."
"I love him." Katie said as she walked upstairs. She laid on her bed as she continued to search for the perfect wedding dress. ~~~ Down the street Bella went for a walk in the woods and saw Laurent. "Your here to kill me."
"Yes."
"You tell her that I didn't kill James. It was Emmett's mate Katie." Bella tells him. She smirked till he realized the she was lying. He went to attack, but wolves came out of no where and chased Laurent way just to kill him. What Bella didn't you want know was that Victoria heard everything. She couldn't tell if Bella is lying or not, but when the time comes Bella will be hers.
