Katie Saves Emmett

It's been six months since the Cullens left. Katie told Emmett that Bella was starting to think that they were still together. Emmett told her to limit her calls and act like she wasn't. Katie has been doing just that even though it hurts. "Katie, sweetie, Bella's here!" Her mother called for.

"Coming!" She said as she finished getting dressed. She walked down to see Bella. "Hey."

"Hey. Want to go to the beach?" Katie was unwary with that question,  it nodded. Bella smiled knowing that this plan has to work.

"Why are we walking up here?" Katie asked. Bella didn't say anything as they kept walking till they got to the cliff where the pack cliff dives at. They didn't know they were being followed. Bella stopped and glared at Katie.

"You ruined everything." She started to speak. "If you didn't come here the Cullens would have been mine, but that Alice always has to ruin things with her visions. She just had to tell Emmett about you." Bella said laughing. "I don't see how your special Katie." She looked back at the blonde." Your nothing."

Katie crossed her arms angry. "And here I thought we were friends." She stated. "Now I know you were just using me for your own personal game. All this "friendship" was about you becoming a vampire."

"Yes! I wanted it all. The Cullens, the beauty, everything, but you are standing in my way." Bella said as she shoved Katie. "Once your dead, Emmett and the others shall be mine." Katie lost her footing as Bella pushed her.

"Come on!" Jacob said as he did CPR on Katie. Katie sat ip coughing and gasping for air.

"What happened?"

"Bella tried to kill you."

"Thanks Jake, but can you get me home." He nodded knowing that she wants to call Emmett.

"Your telling Emmett what happened."

"Yes,

Katie and Jacob got to her house to see Carlisle's car. "What's going on?" Katie asked as she climbed out and ran in against Jacob's protest. She walked in. "Hello!"

"Katie?" Katie turned to see Alice.

"Alice! Oh my god." She said as she hugged Alice with tears in her eyes.

"I thought Bella killed you."

"She tried too, but that didn't work." Katie tells her as Jacob came in and argued with Alice as Katie decided to change into dry clothes. As soon as she came out, Alice appeared in front of her.

"We need to go."

"Why?"

"Rosalie told Emmett about Bella killing you." Katie froze.

"We need to go now." Katie went and wrote a note stating she will be helping the Cullens move back in for the next few days and that she will be staying with them also. "Let's go."

"Katie!" She turned to see Jacob and he hugged her. "Go save Emmett. I'll watch out for Bella." As if she heard her name. Bella came running when she saw Alice.

"Alice! Your back." She said as she tried to hug the vampire just for her to move.

"Stay way from me and my family." Alice stated.

"Why?" Than she turned to see Katie. "Your supposed to be dead."

"Nope. Sorry!" Katie said with a smiled.

"Katie we need to go to Italy to stop Emmett." Alice said. Katie turned to leave, but Bella grabbed her.

"I'll go."

"Hell no you won't. Emmett's my mate not yours." Jacob grabbed Bella.

"Go." He told Katie as she ran to the car and left.

Katie laughed as Alice drove. "I can't believe you stole this." Katie said laugh.

"I know you don't have a problem to grand theft."

"No! As long as I can save Emmett."

The ride was spent in silence. Once they got to the entrance of Volterra, they where stop. "Katie, I need you to run. I have seen him making a scene. You must go to him and I will be there soon." Katie nodded.

"How will I find him?"

"Just look for the big clock tower." Katie nodded as she left. She ran through five different alleyways till she saw Emmett on the other side of the fountain.

"Emmett!" She said as she started running. Emmett had his foot out in the sun and didn't hear his mate calling his name. He had his full body in the sunlight. A little girl saw him sparkle, but before any one could see, Katie had managed to slam into him. "You need to move. Bella didn't kill me. Open your eyes."

Emmett opened his eyes to see the one person who was though5 to be dead. "Katie?"

"I'm here baby." Katie said. Emmett walked back with her in his arms into the shadows. He smashed his lips to hers just so he knows she's alive. They continued to kiss till Emmett froze. She turned to see people in cloaks with red eyes.

"Master wants to see you again."

"I didn't break any rules." Emmett replied.

"He wants to see you now." 

"Katie, why don't you go and enjoy the festival."

"The human comes with us."

After all the drama, Aro wants Katie to become a vampire more than ever do to her gifts. As of now, Katie is known to reflect other gifts. Now the three are on their way home, but doesn't know that new dangers are coming and one is someone they know.
