In The Dream

A/N: Hey guys! Just a quick note; from now on, people speaking in dreams will be in italics, like this, and people thinking in dreams will be in regular text, like this. So, whenever someone is in a dream, the roles of italics and regular texts are switched. Just wanted you to know!

  Anna P.O.V: After I fell asleep, I was teleported to some kind of dream world. Everything was in a slight haze, and I was in the middle of a large field of flowers. To my left, there was a rainforest with glistening leaves. To my right, there was a desert with shimmering, golden (or ‘butter’, as my friends like to call it.) sand piled in sand dunes. The dunes were in the shape of dragon heads. The sun was setting, casting a pink glow on everything from the desert to the rainforest. I must be in a dream, I thought, picking a beautiful, pink and red striped flower. A pink taco with light green angel wings suddenly appeared in front of my face, and started flying towards the sunset, which for some reason, was in the north. My mouth started to water, as I yelled playfully, “ Come back here, taco!” As I chased the flying taco, the flower field started to turn into a tundra, tufts of dark green replacing flowers. Soon, I was chasing the taco through a large tundra, and the rainforest and desert disappeared, and a beautiful pink and purple aurora appeared in the sky. The soft tundra snow, tinted slightly pink from the setting sun, gave under my claws. I decided to start flying, then, realizing I was in a dream, summoned up a dark blue jetpack, and started flying at full speed towards the taco. I finally started to gain on the taco, and I eventually caught it. I sat down on the cold snow, and started munching on the taco. I twirled the flower in my claws, admiring the sunset and the aurora.

    Gyrio P.O.V: When I went to sleep, I was apparently teleported into a dream. Everything was covered in a barely noticeable haze. I was in the middle of a big forest, with oak and birch trees colored black and purple. There was a tundra to my left, and a mountain range to my right.  Cool dream, I thought, taking a seat in the soft grass. The sun was setting in the north for some reason, and it bathed everything in a soft, pink light. A lollipop that looked like the one Mabel gave me suddenly appeared, floating with a fire-red aurora around it. It started drifting towards the tundra, gaining speed rapidly. “ Come back here!” I laughed playfully, and started chasing the ruby-red lollipop into the tundra. Light green, soft grass gave way to patches of dark green, not-as-soft grass and snow tinted slightly pink by the sun. As I chased the lollipop through the tundra, I saw a pretty jet-black flower that stood out amongst the white snow. I swiftly picked the flower as I flew by it, then started to chase the lollipop at full speed again. I finally got to the lollipop, and saw a fire-red dragon on the horizon. As I flew closer, I recognized her immediately. That's the dragon I fought, I thought, still flying towards her.

  Anna P.O.V: I heard flapping, and turned my head around to see a Darkness dragon flying towards me. I remembered who he was when he got closer. He was the one I fought. He was the one who gave me this scar. For some reason, I didn't try to rip his face off when he sat down next to me. Instead, I said “ Hi.” He replied with a quiet “ Hey.” , and we watched the sunset together. The aurora in the sky shifted to blood red as the sun lowered itself on the horizon. Instead of a pink light, everything was now tinted in a faint red light, making my scales look like they glowed. When I finished eating my taco, Gyrio stuck a jet-black flower into my now open claws. The flower grew a shadowy mist around itself when he placed it in my claws. I stared at him, not believing what he just did. He looked into my eyes, and I looked into his. When I did, I saw not just yellow, pupil-less eyes, but I saw eyes filled with kindess, and a strange kind of pain underneath the layer of kindess. He was about to tell me something, but then suddenly vanished into thin air. “ Gyrio?” I said hesitantly, then I heard a buzzing noise. Anna....Anna.... A voice started to whisper. The voice stopped for a second, and then-
“ ANNA!!”
 I started in my hospital bed, and blinked my eyes. I saw the nurse's pink-scaled face, and blinked again. “ Sorry I had to wake you, Anna,” the nurse apologized, “ But you have to be awake for your medicine.” As the nurse got my medicine ready, I thought about my dream. What just happened?

  Gyrio P.O.V: I was wrenched out of my dream with Anna, and I felt cold water on my face. I saw my sister, Layla, with a cup with ice in it.
  “ Come on, Gyrio, you've slept in long enough. It's time for you to do your share of work.” Layla said, putting the glass on the small desk next to my bed. As I flew down the hall to do my chores, I thought to myself, What just happened?
 
 A/N: Hey guys! I wanted to apologize for some of the text in the first paragraph ( The one where Anna first realizes she's in a dream), the words after the word ‘green’ were all supposed to be italicized. Well, for that paragraph anyways. Bai!
