Draconian

Teh Other Revealing

    3rd Person P.O.V, back at the Base, and timeskip to just before dawn: The younger, non-youtuber half of Group 24AX sat in a small, stone room. There was a dark grey, futuristic-looking table with ten chairs in total. The 12-to-13-year-olds only occupied six of the seats. A sleepy Amira yawned, Anna was cleaning her talons, Jada was toying with a ball of water, Nadine was trying to coax a tree out of her paw, Sherieff was carving a snowflake out of ice, and Elizabeth was making steam with fire and water.
“ Alright, it's almost time to tell them. Are we gonna make a plan, or just do it?” Amira asked, breaking the tired silence.
“ Amira, it's like 5 A.M, and you're asking us to come up with a plan?” Anna asked, who was now clacking her talons on the table.
“ Listen, there wasn't another time slot available. In fact, we don't have too much time. We got here late because Elizabeth wouldn't get up. Now, moving o-”
“ I got up late 'cause I was training until eleven!” Elizabeth exclaimed. Amira looked at her, and said “It's not my fault you trained late.”
“ Whatever....” Amira looked back at the others.
“ I think we should just tell them.” Jada said, rotating the sphere of water absentmindedly. 
“ Yeah, it's a lot simpler than making a huge plan.” Sherieff agreed, looking up from his carving. The glistening snowflake was halfway finished, a light layer of icy haze twisting around it.
“ And it's faster.”  Nadine added, twirling a leaf from the tree she grew in her earthy-brown paw. Amira nodded, and nearly fell asleep during the gesture. “Right, so we should just tell them. If anyone has another idea, speak or forever hold your peace.” No one spoke. “ Good. I think we can go back to bed now.” 
“ Finally!” Nadine ran to the elevator, pushed a light blue button, and jumped inside when it opened.
“ Wait up!” Anna ran after Nadine, followed by the other dragons. The door closed right when Sherieff got his tail safely inside. Soft jazz floated through the air.
“ Elizabeth, move a little to the left, please. I can't breath.” a squished Jada said behind Elizabeth.
 Elizabeth moved, and Jada took in a huge breath of air.
“ Ow! You stepped on my tail!” Amira lifted her paw off of Anna's fire-red tail.
“Sorry.” Amira mumbled.
“ Get your paw out of my face!”
“ Take your paw off of my tail!”
“ Move!”
“ DON'T MOVE BACK!!”
“ YES, MOVE BACK!”
One long, LONG elevator ride later:  The kid half of Group 24AX flopped out of the elevator door. The dragons made a beeline to their respective rooms, and went to sleep.

 3rd person P.O.V, and timeskip to day: All of Group 24AX sat in the loud, crowded mess hall eating breakfast.
“ So, where did we have to go again?” Sky asked past a mouthful of fluffy pancakes.
“ A room two floors directly under here. Meet us there after breakfast. If you can't find it, then ask someone.” Nadine answered, taking a small sip of a strange blue liquid.
“ And why?” Ty asked.
“ You'll find out.” Anna answered. The younger half of group 24AX  ate the rest of their breakfast quickly, and scurried into an elevator, leaving six confused youtubers at the table.

  When the youtubers were finished eating, they asked for directions to the room.
“ Two floors under here? I think you're talking about the Stone Room. Yeah, just take the elevator down, and look for a gol-” The dark purple dragon glanced at Sky. “ I mean, a butter door with the number forty-two engraved in it. Go in there, and you should find your companions.”
“ Thanks!” Jason said, and the older half of Group 24AX went down to the room. After a few minutes of searching, the found a go- er, butter door with the number 42 on it. It also had a shiny, plastic label above it saying Stone Room. The youtubers entered, and saw the younger half of group 24AX waiting for them. The room had soft-glowing red walls, and shelves upon shelves of small rocks. The rocks looked similar to Amira, Jada, Nadine, and Anna's jewelry.
“ So, why are we here again?” Bajan asked, looking around the room with interest.
“ You're here to see what type you are, of course.” Anna said, gesturing to all the stones.
“Types?” Quintin asked, obviously confused.
“ Yeah, types.” Anna confirmed. Amira face-clawed, and said “ Dude, this is the second time. You can't just say they're gonna find out what type they are. You have to tell them everything.”  
“ Alright, fine. You guys are Draconian, too, and we need to find out what type you are.” She looked at Amira. “Happy?”
   The youtubers were stunned. After the initial shock, Jerome managed to say in an amazed voice “How??” Amira looked at Nadine, and said “ Your turn.” Nadine nodded, and said “ Yeah, you guys are Draconian. Your parents probably didn't tell you to keep you safe. In fact, they probably moved to Earth from Draconia. Around the time your parents would've been having you guys, Draconia was having a rough time. The economy was in terrible shape, crime rates were sky-high, and everything was just a disaster. Many Draconians moved to other planets, including Earth. Your planet was probably in great shape at the time. Knowing Earthans and their tendency to crush or contain anything new or unfamiliar, your parents stayed here as what you would call humans. They probably never went back into their Draconian forms again.”

  After Nadine finished speaking, Sky regained his voice and asked “Why didn't you tell us we were Draconian before? And how come you gave us that drink before we went to the Moon if you knew we were Draconian anyway?”
“ We didn't tell you because we didn't have your stones at the time. Plus, the Queen ordered that all Draconian youtubers and/or gamers would be told the truth in the Stone Room. And the drink? Well, you would start getting a little suspicious if we just sent you to space without anything special, right? The drink was a treat from the planet Gowdo called chukkajoop.” Jada answered, rolling a small orb of water in her right paw.
“ Any more questions?” Anna asked, looking at the six youtubers.
“ Why did you need our stones to tell us?” Ty asked. Amira made a little cube of electricity in her paw, and said “ Your stones help you to transform between human and dragon forms. The stones aren't completely necessary, but you should really have them. You can have them in any form, inside or outside your body.” Amira pointed to her necklace that she still wore. “ As you can see, I have my stone outside of my body in the form of a necklace. I didn't want to have it inside my body, because it might cause me health problems.”
“ I already told you, Amira, you won't have any health problems.” Elizabeth said, rolling her eyes.
“ It might..” Elizabeth rolled her eyes again, and asked the youtubers to transform.
“ You want us to transform?! ” Sky exclaimed. Amira face-clawed again. “ You have the same problem as Anna, Elizabeth. You have to tell them how to transform.” Elizabeth rolled her eyes at Amira again, and said “ Fine. Okay, focus. Envision yourself transforming. Keep doing that until your body stops moving.” The youtubers did as they were told, and a white light filled the room. It got brighter and brighter, and then suddenly dimmed. The newly-transformed youtubers looked at themselves. They stood on their hind legs, like the rest of the dragons. Sky had the same electric scales as Amira, except several shades darker. Jason had the same water blue scales as Jada. Husky had the same earth brown scales and slightly-leaf-green tinges at the edges of his wings. Deadlox had the same fire-red scales as Anna. Mitch had fire-red scales. Jerome had scales that looked like they were iron. Sky, Deadlox, Husky, and MU all had the same dull black back spikes and claws as Amira, Anna, Jada, and Nadine. However, Jerome had earth-brown back spikes and talons, while Mitch had back spikes and talons that had the same look as Jerome's metallic scales. 

  Sherieff examined them, and said “ Alright, Sky, you're an electric dragon. Jason, you're a water dragon. Husky, you're an earth dragon. Ty, you're a fire dragon. Mitch, you're a fire and metal dragon. And Jerome, you're a metal and earth dragon. If you lift your hand, er, paw, up, your stone will fly into your paw.” After looking at themselves and commenting on each other's appearances, the youtubers lifted up their paws, and waited for their stones. A moment later, six stones around the room started to tremble. They trembled faster and faster, and when they looked as if they would explode, they flew straight into the youtubers' paws. Sky had an electric yellow stone like Amira's, Ty had a fire-red stone like Anna's, Jason had a water-blue stone like Jada's, Quintin had a leaf green stone like Nadine's, Bajan had a stone that was half fire red and half iron grey, and Jerome had a stone that was half iron grey and half leaf green.  The youtubers looked in awe at their new stones. The younger dragons asked the older dragons if they wanted their stones inside or outside of their bodies. They all answered “Inside.” , and their stones glowed a bright white. With a flash of white light, the stones vanished into the youtubers' bodies.
  “ Why does everyone want their stones inside?” Amira wondered out loud. She then glanced at Anna, Jada, and Nadine's jewelry. “Almost everyone..” .
“ Jerome and Bajan, you guys are bi-types. Sky, Deadlox, Husky, and Jason are uni-types. Jerome, you control metal only half as well as a plain metal dragon, and you control earth only half as well as a plain earth dragon. The same thing goes for you, Bajan. You only control your elements half as well as a regular dragon of either element would.” Elizabeth said to the youtubers. After a few more questions and answers, and after the youtubers looking at themselves a little more, Group24AX went up in the elevator, and went to their respective rooms to think about past events.
