Aftermath

Downfall

I'm so exhausted I've been up all night caring for Kristie and managing the things I suppose to do for a salon. Its a big part in my life and also the start of my career.

I'm getting JJ and Kristie ready to go to my mom's while I go to work.

"Mommy", JJ said yanking my shirt. I was trying to pack Kristie's things.

"Mommy!"

"Yes baby", I tried to say patiently.

"I want apple"

"Well mommy needs for you to be patient because I'm trying to fix your sister's things"

JJ starts to catch a fit and he starts crying. Guess what? Kristie starts crying afterwards.

"You gotta be kidding me", I said aloud.

Both of them crying non stop.

"JJ I'm gonna take you to the car and you're not getting an apple", I said picking him up.

He starts crying even worse, but I'm not gonna let him get his way.

I buckled him as he was still crying and so was Kristie. I gave Kristie her pacifier and she fell asleep. JJ fell asleep during the ride to my mom's house.

"Both of them sleep", my mom said surprised.

"Yep they are unbelievable"

I went to work with Tech today and he discussed something similar with me that Donna discussed. My own tattoo shop! I'm very excited about that because I absolutely love doing tattoos.

"So Lana are you down for it", he asked.

"Of course. You know it"

"Awesome! I can help you all the way. You have been donated some money for your own shop"

"Wait what? Who donated money?"

"You were the winner of Xtreme Mississippi, and this was your surprise from them. The $50, 000 was yours and they have you much more money to start your own shop."

"What I never heard of that before"

"Exactly. You're the first and only one they have done this to. They really believe in you"

This was an amazing opportunity! Now much, much, much, much, more money!

We made much more money down in Tech's shop. Its like I was a positive to every business.

"Hey have you seen Slim", Tech asked me.

"Nope not in a while, her and the girls went on a road trip. Why?"

"Nothing she hasn't been to work in a while", he said.

"Slim told you she was taking off for a while"

"Lana you know what I mean"

"Nope you falling for Slim again"

"Ok, ok I am. Honestly I miss her."

Right there I had a plan to get them back together.

Long day of work and I had to go get the kids from my mom.

"Mommy mommy", JJ ran to the door hugging me.

"Hey mama's boy", I said picking him up and kissing his cheek.

"Where's grandma and your sister", I asked him.

"Room", he pointed.

"Hi mom", I greeted her kissing her cheek also.
