Taking A Break

I was shocked that Scott didn't tell me earlier before we got serious in the relationship because I love this man and I really hope he won't do anything to hurt me.

So when he came downstairs he already knew that I knew about the situation.

"Babe I was just about to tell you. It was 2 years ago and I was drunk, like I drank a lot, basically I was an alcoholic. I let my anger take control of me", he explained.

I'm not gonna lie, I can relate to Scott a lot based on our past and present, that's why we're together.

"Scott why didn't you tell me earlier", I asked. Do you see how the tables can turn that quick.

"Babe I was gonna tell you but now I'm telling you and that's all that matters", he said embracing me. I wanted to know one question.

"Who was the girl", I asked, then everyone eyes widened. I just was curious and wanted to know. Ashley started crying which made me cry so I went over and embraced her in a hug.

"Ash stop crying you're making me cry", I said.

"Alana I was the girl that Scott beat", she announced. Now I'm really shocked and mixed with all of these emotions. Tears flowed more as I looked at Ashley then Scott.

"You guys are joking right", I asked, but they only responded with a no. I ran a hand through my hair because this is unbelievable.

"Alana I'm no woman beater and I apologize all the time, but it was 2 years ago", Scott said.

"Alana it was a mistake and he didn't mean it. I forgave him", Ashley followed as Cody comforted her.

"May everyone please leave, please", I said. They all said their goodbyes and left.

"Alana baby speak to me", Scott said.

"Babe stop worrying, you told me and I'm happy that you were honest.", I said planting a kiss on his lips and leaving upstairs.

Honestly its not ok because I don't want to go back to the old days where abuse is present and it really scares me. I know that I'm a strong woman but I fear abuse. Hopefully we can talk this out.

When you know you have that one person you love, trust, and care about its all perfect, but then you find out that one thing that could break the relationship.

He still haven't talked to me about me moving to New York.

I left early the next morning to start packing again at my condo. I have to get my mind together because I don't have much time. I got a phone call from Scott but I didn't answer it.

As I was packing, all the memories of the condo came back to my mind. I still had a room full of gifts! I love and adore all the things they bought me.

I saw the collage of Jessie and I and the black cocktail dress Jake bought me. The car Jessie bought me is still outside so now I have two beautiful cars.

I stayed for 5 hours packing and I got a whole lot done.

RING RING RING

The doorbell was ringing and I went to go answer it.

"Give me a minute", I said running to the door. Once I got there I spotted Jessie. What was he doing here?

"Hi Alana"

"Hi Jessie where's my baby boy", I said as he embraced me in a hug. I invited him in.

"He's with my parents. Wow you're really leaving", he said observing the condo.
