Finals and Prom

3rd Week 1st Day

Finals were finally here and prom was this Friday. I found out that all the competitions would start earlier in the day.

We only were competing 3 days in finals which was Today, tomorrow, and Friday.

I had all my inspirational things ready to go. I really made sure I was ready for finals.

We arrived at the competition. I was the only girl left and I was competing against 2 skilled boys.

This week was inspirational week. Meaning you could do any type of tattoos as long as they were inspirational.

They gave each of us our own categories. For today I had breast cancer survivors. Tess, Cidney, and Michelle.

Tess- My idea was the breast Cancer sign and under it reading Go. Fight. Survive.

Cindney- I am a survivor with a bandana colored in pink and the date she was diagnosed.

Michelle- The hook of Destiny's child "I'm a survivor" written in lyrics form.

I think all my ideas were nice. I finished all 3 and they didn't move one bit. The judges took score as usual.

I went to my hotel to practice again. For finals I make sure i practice twice as harder. This is very serious.

RIING RIIING RIIING

"Hello", I answered.

"Why haven't you answer my calls", Jake said stressed.

"Babe I was busy"

"Yeah busy making out with Slim. Alana I have saw your IG"

"Jake I'll explain later"

"Why can't you explain now", he said with an attitude.

"Dude I really don't need the negative energy right now, so I'll talk to you later"

"Alana don't you hand up this phone"

I hung up the phone because I was already stressed enough about finals of the competition.

2nd Day of 3rd Week

I have came up with a strategy for my own practice. I draw sketches everyday and I observe colors and my utensils. I have also made colors of my own. I go to the art museum to look at pieces of art and how their detail.

I'm doing excellent on my own. I'm still pissed at Tech because he just left, no notice or anything. I also used my nail designing as a strategy.

I look at all my work and I see what I can do better. Practice does make perfect.

This competition is really getting harder. I'm the only girl competing with 2 boys.

"Today you all will be drawing on each other again. Alana you have Brian. Brian you have Miles. Miles you have Alana. You all have an hour to complete 2 tattoos of any inspirational quote of your choosing. Time begins now"

"Ladies first", Miles stated.

I told Miles both of my quotes.

"Wait before you start. Make up a quote about your life."

Change of plans. I had to think of a quote that defines my life.

"Surviving the many obstacles you encounter makes you stronger as an individual"

"I believe success is the key to the start of a new beginning"

Those were my 2 quotes I sketched it out myself.
