Aftermath

Wedding Day

Today is the day before the wedding. We are going to do rehearsal for the wedding and the graduation. My wedding was 5:00pm in the afternoon and the graduation is at 1:00pm tomorrow. I had back up plans just in case things start to go left.

I have been vomiting all day and so I'm trying my best to cope today. Kelly, Slim and Candice left yesterday to go and do a couple of things, so its just me,JJ, and Jake at the house.

"Babe we don't have to go to rehearsal if you don't want to", Jake said.

"Babe its ok I can go. Nope wait a minute.", I said running to the bathroom.

"Oh my god Lana, you do not look so good."

"I know"

I pain shot through my stomach and I moaned loudly.

"Babe I'm taking you to the hospital whether you like it or not", Jake said looking concerned.

How can this happen the day before my wedding. We arrived at the hospital and the doctor checked me out and everything. He took some blood and said he would be back soon.

"Babe you doing ok now", Jake said massaging my back.

"No be right back", I said rushing back to the bathroom to vomit again as I walked out and a few seconds later the doctor walked in.

"Well Ms. Richardson you are pregnant"

Did he just say I was pregnant?

"Umm can you repeat yourself", I asked wanting to be certain.

"You're pregnant. We're positive you're pregnant"

Jake was stunned, he picked me up and kissed me, then he hugged me tightly.

"Babe we're having a baby", Jake said excitingly. I was excited too because I'm having baby # 2. Hurray!

"Ok we're not gonna announce it until the afterparty."

"Ok that would be great"

I was still gonna be nauseas. We went back to the house and I got ready for rehearsal for graduation.

"Ok everyone you will come upon the stage, get your diploma with your left hand and shake with the right"

I'm so excited, we're graduating.

After graduation practice I went home, just to sleep. Candice, Slim and Kelly texted me telling me they were gonna be home in a couple of minutes.

"You ok babe", Jake came in and sat on the bed.

"Yeah I'm fine"

I had to lay on my back because if I layed on my stomach it made me more nauseous.

"Well we're having a baby.", Jake said rubbing my tummy.

"Jake you're so excited"

"Yeah, my first baby"

We cuddled until Candice, Slim and Kelly arrived.

"Lana", they all screamed.

I really didn't want to be bothered so I told Jake to tell them I was asleep.

"Sshhh you guys she's sleeping", I heard Jake say.

"Sleeping? We have 2 hours before rehearsal starts", Slim said.

After a while they left and then it was time to get up. We got ready and left for the civic center. Everyone was there on time, but we were late.

"Well hi, it took you guys long enough to get here", Minx stated.
