Strawberry Milkshake

Chapter 4

Cheryl's POV
Yesterday was weird. I was nice to Topaz, and she was nice to me. When she's not a complete ass she's actually super nice. She's also attractive. Anyone with two eyes can see that.

But that's besides the point. I hate her... right? I'm not so sure I do anymore. Right now I'm walking up to her front door. God this is weird. I knock on the door. A minute later Toni answers.

"Hey. Come in." She moves so I can step inside. I look around.

"Nice house Princess." I say, smirking.

Toni rolls her eyes. "Shut up. Just come with me." She leads me up to her room. She sits on the bed and motions for me to sit beside her.

I sit on the bed beside her and pull out the book. "Alright. So we have two weeks to read it. I can read it and tell you what happens? Just so you don't have to waste your precious time." I say with a wink.

Toni rolls her eyes. "Shut up Blossom. I have a copy of it. We can both read it. Now, we should try to get along a bit better to save this project from failing both of us."

I nod. "Agreed. So, now fighting till the end of this project. Friends? For two weeks?" I ask. I wish it was more.. no I don't. What am I saying. I hate her...

Toni nods. "Agreed." She smiles at me. God I love her smile... and fuck. I like toni topaz.

I smile and nods. "Well uh I should probably get home... you have my number. Feel free to text if you need anything." I wink and get up.

Toni rolls her eyes and walks me to the door. "Bye blossom." I smile and leave. I walk to my motorcycle and ride home.

Toni's POV

I watch the redhead leave and I can't help but think about how attractive she looks. And how nice she's been. And fuck. I like Cheryl blossom...

-next day-

I walk into the student lounge and see Cheryl with her serpent friends. I wave at her and sit down with my friends. I glance over at Cheryl, long enough for her to notice and wink.

I roll my eyes at the redhead causing her to smile. The bell rings so I get up. Cheryl walks over to me. We walk to class together silently.

We get to the class and sit in our usual seats. Cheryl puts her feet up on my chair. I roll my eyes and look at her. "Are you ever gonna stop doing that blossom?"

The redhead shakes her head. "Nope. Sorry pinky." She winks causing me to roll my eyes. I turn back around and pay attention to the lesson. Today is gonna be a long day...

-after school-

Me and Cheryl has agreed to meet up at pops to talk about the book. I was already there and waiting for Cheryl.

Cheryl walked in and plopped down. "So I'm done the book."

I look at her with wide eyes. Cheryl laughs. "I got bored last night. It's good." She smiles.

God I love that smile. I smile too. "Okay well I'm barely even done. I've read like, 5 chapters." I say

Cheryl laughs. She orders a milkshake for herself and me. "Stop doing that. Im perfectly capable of ordering my own." I say.

Cheryl rolls her eyes. "Let be me nice Topaz." She winks. I roll my eyes.

"Do you even know my first name? You've like... never called me by my first name." I ask, slightly annoyed.

Cheryl nods. "I do. It's just fun calling you topaz." Her phone rings. "I'll be right back."

She gets up and leaves. A couple minutes later she comes back. "I gotta go. Family stuff. See you tomorrow." She grabs her book. She puts some money down to pay for the drinks and leaves.

I watch her leave and sigh. I get up and go home. I get home and just fall asleep. Today was a busy day.
