Chapter 12

Cheryl's POV
Me and Toni have been together for about 3 months now. I spend a lot of time at her place, as my dad is usually home.

Right now I'm just sitting on my bed, looking through my camera roll. There are a lot of pictures of me and Toni. I smile softly, looking at one we took not too long ago.

Me and Toni haven't gotten very far. We've made out, but that's it. Nothing else. We haven't said "I love you" yet, even though I want to.

And I plan to soon. As I continue to look at our pictures, I get a call from her. I pick up instantly.

"Hey babes. I was just thinking about you..." I say happily.

"When are you not red? So I'm throwing a party at my house tonight. You in?"

I roll my eyes playfully. Toni throws a lot of parties. "Of course I am babe. When am I not?" I hear Toni laugh and I can tell she's smiling. God, I love her smile.

"That's true mon amour. Come early? Help me set up? I haven't seen you since yesterday. I miss you."

I laugh. "Getting clingy now, aren't we? Of course I'll come. Can I come now? I'm really bored." I chuckle.

"Of course you can. I'll see you soon."

I smile softly. "See you soon baby." I hang up. I get up and change. I put on a black crop top, black skinny jeans and a leather jacket.

My dad isn't home so I leave a note saying I'm staying at Toni's for the night. I get on my motorcycle and ride to her house.

I hop off and knock at the door. Toni answers, smiling. "Hey red." She kisses me softly.

I smile and kiss back. "Hey, shortie." I joke. She rolls her eyes playfully and moves so I can walk inside. 

I walk inside and look around Toni's house. "So. Who's coming to this party?" I say, turning to look at her. I pull the shorter girl closer to me. 

Toni smiles a little bit at me. "Just some people from school..." She leans up and kisses me softly. I giggle and kiss back. I kiss her forehead.

"Someone's getting clingy." I joke. Toni rolls her eyes playfully and laughs a little.

"Shut up you jerk." She says, laughing a little. I kiss her cheek. Toni smiles widely. 

"Alright now you want a good party so... let's start setting up." I kiss her cheek before we start setting up the party. We put out drinks and snacks. I snake my arms around Toni's waist from behind when we're done and rest my head on her shoulder. "this is gonna be a party people will talk about for a while." I kiss her temple.

After a little bit people start showing up. I smile at the people I recognize, but I stay close to Toni. Soon, Veronica, Archie and Betty show up. I look at Toni. "I'm gonna go talk to them. I'll be back soon" I kiss her cheek. She nods before I walk over to my other friends.

Veronica smiles, her arm wrapped around Betty's waist. "Hey Blossom. Where can we find the booze?" She asks. I point in the direction of the kitchen, and they walk that way. 

I turn to Archie. "Hey, Archibald." I say with a little smirk. He rolls his eyes playfully and looks around.

"Nice party Cher. Where's your girl?" He says, his voice a bit louder than usual as he's talking over the crowd. I look around and shrug.

"Not sure. I was just with her though. She'll be fine." I smile. Me and Archie talk for half an hour until Toni comes stumbling over.

"Heyyyy pretty lady." She says with a giggle, slurring her words. I roll my eyes, realizing she's drunk. I smirk a little bit.

"Hey, pinky. Seems you can't handle your alcohol." I raise an eyebrow and smirk. Toni looks at me with a fake look of hurt.

"That... is very rude." She giggles. She looks around. "this party is boring... Let's play spin the bottle!" She yells. I groan as she drags me over to the couches. She pushes me onto the couch and stands up as a crowd gathers around us. 

"Okay, so the rules! So someone spins the bottle, obviously. And then they have to kiss whoever it lands on. If they don't wanna kiss the person though, they need to take a shot!" She says, still slurring her words a bit. 

Toni sits down. "I will start." She puts the bottle on the table that's in the centre of the circle. She spins it. I watch it nervously, and look at Toni. The bottle lands on this girl named Peaches. I look at Toni and sighs. 

Toni looks at me before looking at Peaches. "Alright." She moves closer to Peaches and kisses her. Peaches instantly kisses back. It's not even an innocent kiss. They're close to making out. 

I get up with tears in my eyes. I grab my serpent jacket and just run, tears streaming down my face. How could I be so stupid?
