Chapter 19

Cheryls POV

Toni broke up with me 5 days ago, and all I've done is cry. My dad is out of town so I've been staying at Veronica's house because her house is better than my trailer. Archie came over yesterday and said he'd kill Toni, but I stopped him. 

Right now I'm sitting in Veronica's room with her and Betty. We're just sitting on her bed eating ice cream. Veronica looks at me. "Hey... at least Betts and I are gonna be with you at NYU, right?" Both Veronica and Betty got into NYU. Betty got in on a scholarship.

Paying for university will be hard for me and Veronica, so we both picked up jobs, and got paid internships for the summer. Archie is staying in Riverdale, he's going to take over the serpents. We're all super proud of him.

I look at Veronica and nods. "I just miss her so much..." I say, a tear running down my face. Both girls move and hug me, rubbing my back. I start to cry. "It's so unfair. I did everything for her. She made me feel so special..."

"Shh we know Cher... She doesn't deserve you though, okay? If she broke up with you because of the distance she wasn't worth it in the first place." She says, the words sticking in my head.

Tonis POV

I drink the beer and sigh. I look over at Fangs. "man I screwed up..." I say, slurring my words. Fangs rolls his eyes.

"No shit Topaz... That girl loves you and you screwed it up." He says, taking a sip of his own beer. We're at Jugheads house. He decided since I broke up with Cheryl I'm worthy of hanging out with them.

Jughead rolls his eyes. "Oh come on Topaz. You could do so much better. How about tomorrow night we take you to a party and find someone worthy of you?" He says, smirking. I know that smirk. He's gonna take me to the party, get me drunk and try to makeout with me. 

Sweet Pea rolls his eyes. "Man shut up. You only wanna makeout with her. Who would wanna makeout with you? I'm a much better candidate. I'll even drive." Sweet Pea looks at me.

I almost gag but bite it back. "Always such the gentleman Pea. I think I'm good. I have plans tomorrow anyways." I lie. I don't have any plans but ice cream and tears. I just don't want to be around them.

Jughead groans. "Oh but come on. You need a Northsider that'll actually be good for you. Unlike that redhead bi-" Fangs cuts him off.

"Man shut up. You two are such creeps. You wanna go Topaz?" He looks at me and I nod. We put down our beers and stands up.

Fangs leads me out of the house. "I am so sorry for bringing you here. I thought you'd want to see them again. It was a mistake."

I cut him off by embracing him in a tight hug. He quickly hugs back. "I'm sorry topaz..." Fangs is like my brother. He's my only 'friend' that didn't leave me when I said I was dating Cheryl. He's always been there for me. Hes the best friend ever.

"I miss her so much... and I hate them. I hate them so much. I don't want anyone but her..." I cry into his shoulder.

Fangs rubs my back. "I know Toni... You do realize what you have to do... it's clear she's the most important thing to you. Do you want to be happy with her or decent without her?"

I realize exactly what I need to do. "Thank you."

So originally I was gonna have Jughead and Sweet Pea try to hookup with Toni but it was too gross so I substituted it. Umm the next chapter will be the grad chapter. Choni interaction. Then the epilogue. Sorry this chapter is so short.
