Strawberry Milkshake

Chapter 13

Tonis POV

Toni pulls away from the kiss and wipes her mouth. She looks around and sees Cheryl running away. "shit..." She knows the kiss was a problem. She didn't intend for it to look how it did, Peaches was just forcing it too much. Toni looks around. "Alright parties over!" She sees Archie, Betty and Veronica all standing around together. She walks over to them. "I need your help."

Cheryl's POV

I run, tears streaming down my face. Everyone warned me about Toni but I didn't listen. Why didn't I listen? I get to my trailer and walk to my room, ignoring my dad. I sit down on the bed and sob. "I thought she was different..." I whisper to myself. I ignore my phone which is rapidly buzzing. I shut it off and let myself fall asleep. 

- The Next Day -

I wake up and sigh, I remember what happened the night before. I turn on my phone and sigh. I have 10 missed calls from Toni. I ignore the calls and stand up. I look around my room and run a hand through my hair. I pull on a black band t-shirt, some ripped jeans and my serpent jacket before heading to Pops. 

I get on my motorcycle and speed off to Pops. I walk inside and see Toni. I sigh and walk to an empty booth. A waitress brings over a strawberry milkshake. I look at her. "Oh, I didn't order this..." I say, a bit confused.

"I know. But she did." She points over at Toni. I sigh and rolls my eyes a little. "Of course she did," I say in my head. I smile at the waitress as she walks away. I glance at the door when I hear it open. Archie, Veronica and Betty all walk in. They notice me and walk over.

They all sit down, Archie beside me, and B and V across from me. "We need to talk about pinky. She didn't mean for what happened to happen." Veronica says, making direct eye contact with me.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah well, she can tell me that herself..." I know that's exactly what she's been trying to do, but this is a conversation that needs to happen in person. Not over the phone. I get up and walk back outside. I notice Toni is gone but I shrug it off. I hop on my bike and head to Sweetwater River, surprised when I see a certain pink-haired girl sitting there.
