Chapter 10

Cheryl's POV
So tonight me and Toni have a date. It's our 6th official date. I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend. I'm super nervous, which is rare. I've noticed I get nervous when it comes to Toni.

I'm bringing Toni to the Bijou to watch Love, Simon. And then I'm bringing her to my trailer as my dad promised he'd be crashing at Archie's place tonight. Some serpent stuff. My dad is best friends with Archie's.

I made a whole dinner. I'm not the greatest cook, but I still tried. After that I'm bringing her to this field to watch the stars. That's when I'm going to ask her. Then, hoping she says yes, I'm gonna bring her back to my place so she can spend the night.

I pull up to Toni's house and knock on the door. Jamie answers. "Hey red. Toni will be our in a second. Come in." He moves out of the way so I can step inside.

"She's still getting ready. She's like super nervous for some reason. Something about Archie." He shrugs.

I roll my eyes. "He freaked her out today." I say. Jamie just nods before walking to his room.

I look around the house. I hear footsteps so look over to where they're coming from. I see Toni and my jaw drops. She's just wearing a red cropped hoodie and black ripped jeans, but she can make the simplest outfits look amazing.

Toni smiles and walks over. "Hey snakey." She hugs me and pecks my cheek.

I hug back. "Hey princess. You look amazing." Toni smiles, pulling away from the hug.

"Thanks. So do you red." She says, looking me up and down. I chuckle and roll my eyes.

"Alright. Let's go preppy." I say, smirking. Toni hits my arm playfully. I chuckle.

"Alright hold on. Lemme tell my brother we're leaving." Toni runs to her brothers room. She talks to him for a few minutes before coming back.

"Alright let's go." She holds my hand as we walk outside. I open the passengers seat door for Toni.

"M'lady." I say. Toni chuckles and rolls her eyes.

"You're a dork Cher." She pecks my cheek and gets in the car. I close the door and then go around and get in the drivers seat.

Me and Toni put our seatbelts on before we start driving. "Where are we going babe?" Toni says, laying her head on my shoulder.

I smile. "We're going to the bijou and then my place. I cooked dinner. I apologize in advance for an food poisoning."

Toni giggles. "No I'm sure your cooking is great." She pecks my cheek. I smile softly.

"You'll think differently later Pinky." I say, as I continue to drive. Toni looks up at me.

I glance at her. "Can I help you?" I smirk.

Toni shakes her head. "just enjoying the view." She winks.

I groan and roll my eyes. "God that was awful." I chuckle. Toni giggles.

"It really was, wasn't it." She smiles softly. I pull up to the bijou. Toni takes her head off my shoulder and we both get out of the car.

I wrap my arm around Toni's shoulder as we walk inside. I pay for the tickets. I look at Toni. "Want anything else?"

"Uh... can we share a popcorn?" She asks shyly. She gets shy when we're together in public. It's cute.

"Of course." I buy a popcorn. I hand it to Toni.

Toni smiles. "Thank you." She kisses my temple. I smile softly.
