Raven's POV

The rest of my things were packed and taken into Chris's apartment. We had talked to a few people and a 'for sale' sign sat in front of my house. I was finally moving back to my hometown.

"Do you want a separate room or do you want to stay with me?" Chris questioned hesitantly as we carried some things upstairs.

"With you, if that's okay," I decided.

He smiled and said, "of course, birdy."

"Thank you."

He set a box of my clothes down by the dresser and I did the same. "You can have the top four drawers, I'll have the bottom. Also, you can do whatever with the closet. I barely have anything in there except for suits and dress clothes."

I nodded, saying thanks, and began to place my folded shirts in the top drawer. Chris went back downstairs to grab another box.

The shirts were quickly placed into drawers, and Chris was pretty quick with bringing up boxes. Once everything I didn't care that much about was in the dresser, I moved into the closet to hang up some clothes.

"Need any help?" Chris offers.

I shake my head. "Just talk to me."

He sits down on the closet floor as I'm still sorting through clothes. "About what?"

"Our childhood."

He paused for a minute, thinking about what to say. Then, he started his story.

"We met in Sawmill Park when we were six. Everyday after that, we'd meet up there. We went to school together, too, so we were always hanging out.

"Our highschool years were the most fun. We did everything together. We played in the school talent show, and that's how Motionless in White got started. You were going to be in the band, but I guess we had different destinies.

"We went to prom together. We both thought that it was corny, but we did it to make my mom and your aunt happy. We ... well, we lost our virginities that night ... to each other."

I start laughing at how awkward he sounds. "Oh my god, Chris! You act like it's such a sin!"

"I do not!" He defends. He's now laughing too. "I never regret having sex with you."

"That's because I'm so good at it," I joke.

"I'm not gonna argue with that."

Even though I couldn't exactly remember every little thing about our relationship, I knew I loved him. So, I leaned forward and locked my lips with his. We fell back onto the closet floor, and ... well, no further explanation is needed.

"The band wants to hang out," Chris announces, looking up from his phone. "At Vinny's house."

I nod as I stir my spagettios. "Okay. What time?"

"In an hour. So, you have enough time to eat your spagettios and get ready."

I laugh and take a bite of the delicious canned food. I had made Chris buy these especially for me the last time we had went to the store.

"Do I look okay?" I ask Chris once I finish my food.

"You always look good."

I roll my eyes, a smile dancing on my lips. "No, dipshit. Do I look presentable to go see our friends?"

He nods. "Yes, you look nice."

"Thank you."

I follow him outside to the car, after we put our shoes on and I gave Osiris some food. Vinny lived pretty close to us, probably about ten minutes away. Nonetheless, Chris still turned on the radio. He never wanted to sit in silence.

Nowadays, Chris was always playing songs he thought would trigger my memory. He didn't really admit it, but he played all the same songs that had been downloaded on my phone. Today, he was playing The Smiths.

"This was the first song that we danced to," I announced.

He smiles and nods. "Yeah. That was such a fun night."

"What else happened?"

"We had a movie marathon and ate a whole bunch of pizza. Then, we turned on the radio and had a massive dance party. You hit your head on my dresser."

"Of course I did."

"You were the most clumsy person I had ever met," he tells me with a laugh.

"I'm still pretty clumsy. I remember this one time, I was trying to get Osiris inside. It wasn't icy outside or anything, and I slipped down my front steps. They were completely dry, too!"

I can tell it makes him happy every time I say "I remember." It makes me happy, too, but I think Chris is more overjoyed.

"We're here," he says, pulling into Vinny's driveway.

I smile and get out of the car. I grab Chris's hand when he's by my side and we walk into our friend's house. Hopefully, it's not trashed yet.

I've totally forgot about Osiris. It's so hard for me to remember these pets that I give my characters.
