Raven's POV

Three weeks had passed since Chris and I's argument. We'd had a few debates throughout that time, but other than that, we were doing okay.

Chris was leaving today. The girls had offered to come stay with me and Abigail for awhile, until we were more comfortable with being alone.

Chris was rushing around to gather all of his things. I was trying to help, but I had Abby and she was fussy, so I was also trying to calm her down.

"Where's my laptop?" Chris calls from upstairs.

"In your office!" I call back, rocking Abby back and forth.

The bus pulled up right as Chris finished tying his shoes. I followed him outside.

The guys all piled out of the bus to say hi to Abby. She was passed around and cooed at by everyone as Chris and I said our goodbyes.

We hugged each other for a good minute or so before Chris pulled away and placed his hands on my shoulders. "Take breaks if you need them. The girls can help with Abby."

I nod. "I know."

"I'm serious. Take this time to forgive yourself."

I give him a small smile. "Of course. Now, can I have a kiss?"

He leans in to plant a soft kiss on my lips. I wrap my arms around his waist.

"That's your mommy and daddy being disgusting," I hear Vinny tell Abigail.

"Yeah, I feel bad for you," Ryan says.

"You have a long future ahead of you," Ricky adds.

Chris and I pull apart. "Don't fill my daughter's head with to much bullshit," he jokes.

Ricky hands Abigail to Chris. He looks down at his daughter and smiles. "I'll be back soon."

She reaches up and grabs his hair, making a little noise at him. "I love you, my baby girl." He looks to me. "I love you, too, my birdy."

After he said goodbye to Abby, he hands her to me and gives me one final kiss. "I'll be back before you know it."

I nod. "I know."

"I see you holding back tears, Raven."

I shake my head and purse my lips, trying to hold in my tears. "No."

"You can cry, you know."

The tears flood down my face and Chris let's out a small laugh. "Damn it!" I exclaim.

"I'll call you later," he tells me before entering the bus.

I stand in the driveway with my daughter. The bus pulls away and I wipe my face the rest of the way.

"Well, I guess it's just us, huh, baby?"

Kylie was bent over Abby, holding up two onesies. "What one do you want?"

Abby reached towards the black Motionless in White one.

I grin. "Just like her dad. I definetly need pictures of her in that to send go him."

The girls had been here for a few hours and we decided to go out to dinner. Chris's mom had offered to watch Abigail, and I thought I might be nice to have some time without a baby.

We make our way to the cars. We had to take two because I had the car seat in mine.

I dropped off Abigail with a little bit of struggle. I didn't want to let her go, but I needed some time.

Finally, we get to the diner. I felt relieved to be out with my friends, simply relaxing and doing normal things. Sometimes, I feel as if mothering is going to be my only forte in life now.

"How's everything going, besides things with Abby?" Ryan-Ashley asks.

"What do you mean?"

"Your mental and physical health, what you've been up to," Jaime says.

I shrug. "I'm doing okay. I definetly needed a break. I'm gonna be able to start working again soon, taking pictures and stuff."

"Don't you have to tour with bands for that?" Kylie questions.

"I'll do local shows."

"What about Osiris? Does he feel left out because of Abby?"

"I kinda forget about him," I tell Allie. "He hangs around outside a lot. I feel bad because he's my kitty cat, but he understands."

We order our food and wait for them to bring it out. Everyone is chatting and having fun, and for once I'm at peace. I'm not too worried about my daughter, I don't miss Chris too much, and I have time to myself.

I forgot about the damn cat again. Also, my mom said I could get my name legally changed to Salem if I save up my money and I'm low-key happy.
