Chris's POV

"I don't like that crib! She could get her head stuck between the railings!" I exclaim.

Raven shakes her head. "Oh my god, Chris! She's not even gonna be crawling by the time we get her a new bed!"

I roll my eyes. "I want a different crib."

Raven walks away from me to begin examining another crib. I wanted to shout out "not that one, either," just to annoy her, but I didn't.

We were arguing a lot about how we were gonna set up the nursery. Raven was picking out things that didn't look safe at all. We just couldn't come to terms.

Raven's POV

Chris was annoying the hell out of me! Why would these things be selling for babies if they weren't safe?

Chris walked up to the crib I was looking at. He grabbed the tag and opened his mouth to say something, but I cut him off.

"If you're gonna keep disagreeing with me, you go and find the crib yourself. I'm going to look at clothes."

"I'm just saying, this one isn't-"

"Oh my god, Chris! You do it, then!"

I walk away from him and the section of cribs. I look through the other things, like diapers, clothes, bottles, and toys. People were going to be getting us a lot of this for our baby shower, but it's better to stock up.

I grabbed a plain black onesie made for newborns and placed it in the cart. Chris and I were still working on getting Abby custom made clothes.

I found a pair of black pants and some cute faux black leather boots. She couldn't wear the boots until she was older, but it was the last pair, so I grabbed them.

Someone taps me on the back and I spin around to see Chris. "What?"

"I found a crib," he says.

"You sure it doesn't have to big of railings? It's not gonna fall over in her sleep?" I ask sarcastically.

"Nope, I'm sure. It's a good one. And excuse me for worrying about our kid."

Worrying a little too much.

I follow him to the crib and nod after looking it over. "Okay, let's get that."

We had already gotten a dresser, rocking chair, and changing table for her room a few days ago. We just needed the crib and then we could go home and set up.

Life was so stressful. Chris and the band were about to release their newest album, Reincarnate. We also had to attend the APMA's shortly after that was released, and people would no doubt be asking about Abby.

Luckily, we had finished the nursery with minimal fighting. The walls had been painted dark gray and we had set the crib up by the window. Everything was organized and set in place. We only had to wait for three more months and then the baby was gonna be here.

"Baby, I'm so excited!" Chris yells, running into our bedroom.

I paused the t.v. and sat up in bed. "Why?"

"We're releasing Reincarnate tomorrow!"

I smiled. "Oh yeah! That's awesome, Chrissy."

"So I was wondering ..."

"Oh no."

"Wanna have a celebration?"

I shrug. "Sure, but you're organizing it."

"Okay," he agrees. "Whatcha watching?"

"The Walking Dead," I reply.

"Ugh, you and that show. Doesn't it make you want to puke?"

"No," I say. "Watch one episode with me and I bet you'll wanna watch more."

He sits down by me and I push play. I could tell he was getting into it about halfway through the episode.

Once the episode was over, he asked, "can we watch another?"

I laugh and scroll through the other episodes on Netflix. I might as well start him off from the beginning of the show so he knew what was happening.

Chris ended up falling asleep during the credits of the second episode, so I turned off the t.v. and snuggled into his side.

"I love you," he mumbles.

"I love you, too."

I close my eyes and feel sleep wash over me.

I miss how The Walking Dead used to be but I still love it lol.
