Chris's POV

Holy shit.

Holy shit!

Raven was pregnant. With my baby.

Should I be happy? Excited? Scared?

"What? That's impossible!" Raven exclaims.

"No, it's not," I say. "We had a lot of-"

"No details, please." Dr. Roberts chuckles. "See here, on the chart? Positive for pregnancy."

I didn't know what to say. I was so surprised. Was I even father material? Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!

"I recommend you two go visit an ob/gyn within the week to see how everything's going. Get set up with the prenatal vitamins and such," he explains.

Raven nods. "Thank you."

"Anytime. Come back by this date so I can do a final check up on you." He hands her a paper.

Raven and I grab our things and walk out of the doctor's office in silence. I knew she was going to freak out, but she was just waiting to do it in the car.

She climbs into the passenger seat and immideitly starts crying. "What are we gonna do?"

I place my hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, birdy. It'll be okay. We're gonna have a mini motionless!" I say, trying to make her laugh.

She giggles and wipes her nose. "So you're not mad?"

"Why would I be mad?"

"I don't know," she mutters. "Do you even want kids?"

"I always thought it'd be nice to have someone that had your beautiful eyes."

"You wanted a baby with me?"

"You're the only one I've ever thought about having a baby with. Let's hope it doesn't have my nose."

"I hope it has your quirky smile."

"What should we call it? Since we don't know if it's a boy or girl."

She grins. "Let's call it Criminal, since it's going to steal my nutrients for nine months."

I laugh and place my hand on her stomach. "Hey, Criminal."

"I want pickles," she announced.

"Don't start with the weird cravings," I say.

"It's not like I want to dip them in ketchup ... wait, that sounds good. Can we go grocery shopping?"

"Eww, but okay."

I start the car and we begin the short drive to Wal-Mart.

"My mom knew someone who ate crayons, but only the blue ones because those tasted better."

"Nasty."

We walk through the aisles of the grocery store. Raven tossed in many different foods, some of which I hoped she didn't eat together. Pickles, ketchup, potato chips, chocolate chips, Pringles, pop tarts, and whatever else she could find. I made her get fruit and vegetables for smoothies, since I figured that would be healthy for the baby.

"I just can't have pineapple because it'll do something to the PH levels in my body and induce labor," she told me as I out strawberries in the cart.

I nod and she continues looking at the organic goods.

"Maybe we should start looking at houses," I suggest. "The baby is gonna need a nursery, and when it's older, it should have more space than what's in my apartment."

"Yeah, good idea. I'm about done, are you?"

"Yup, we can go."

We walk to the self checkout and begin scanning items. I notice that Raven had thrown some seaweed wraps in the cart when I wasn't looking.

I scrunched up my nose in disgust. "Seaweed?"

She nods. "We're eating that for dinner, too."

I stick my tongue out and scan it. She bags it and puts the bag in the cart. We continue doing that until it was time to pay. I slide my credit card through the thingy and do all that stuff.

On the way home, Raven called her ob/gyn. She scheduled an appointment for tomorrow, and we had to meet the couple that she was selling the house to the next day.

"She said I have to rest and listen to my body."

"That makes sense," I agree. "So you're not gonna cook those seaweed wraps tonight?" I ask hopefully.

"My body is telling me to cook them, so I'm going to."

Why is she always so stubborn?

I didn't say anything else because I knew pregnant people were very sensitive. I didn't want to upset her.

Finally, we make it home and start carrying the bags in. For some reason, the guys were all sitting on my couch.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask as I set the bags down. Raven furrows her eyebrows and picks up Osiris.

"We wanted to see if Raven was still sick," Balz says. "And we need to inform you that Korel planed another tour. You wouldn't answer your phone for him when he called to tell you."

Raven's eyes got big when she heard about the tour. "Um ..."

"Oh, you can come, too," Ryan tells her. "Allie can watch Osiris."

"I don't ... I ..." she trails off and looks to me.

"We have to talk to your doctor first," I finish for her.

"Why?" Ricky questions.

Raven places her hands over her stomach. "Say hi to Criminal."

Everyone looks confused, so I shout, "I'm gonna be a dad!"

The guys all jump up to give us hugs and congratulate us. Raven ends up running into the bathroom to puke halfway through, but everyone was still excited.

I never thought I would be I dad, but look where I am now. Instead of worrying or being angry, I'm gonna make it the best experience.

Lol I'm trying to add Osiris back into these chapters but I keep forgetting.
