"Whats on your mind?" Andrew asked Sariya as he stared at her from across the table. She was staring at her food and had been extremely quiet ever since they left the chapel.

She shrugged and took another sip of the ginger ale in front of her. She still hadn't been feeling well from the hangover, and the news they had just received didn't make it any better.

"I mean we have to talk about this before we go meet up with the others. In a matter of days the world is gonna find out that we got married. One because of who you are and your family, and two because of me being a very popular NBA prospect."

She just sighed and covered her face. "My family is gonna set me on fire, especially my sister. She saw a hickey on my neck, and if she puts two and two together she'll realize the mysterious guy I've been seeing in Houston is actually you."

He made a face. "I don't recall giving you a hickey. Especially in an area that people could see."

She pulled her hands away from her face and gave him a straight face. "There was a hickey on my neck and the side of my breast. Also today I woke up with more, a lot more."

He chuckled softly. "My fault. and I don't recall the new ones but seeming as we woke up naked, I'm sure drunk me had good reasoning for it."

She just laughed and shook her head. "Honestly we're both fucked. Cause we have to wait a whole year before we can even get our marriage annulled."

"Damn." He sighed. "Very fucked."

Sariya continued to laugh. "I really can't believe this. I literally had everything controlled in my life, from my career, to my personal life, to how I dealt with my family. Then here you come out of nowhere, and its like damn fuck any plans I thought I had."

Andrew winced. "Ouch. You making me feel like the bad guy right now."

She stopped laughing and shook her head. "No I don't mean it like that. I don't blame any of this on you, honestly it's my fault. I mean I normally keep to myself, and just focus on my career. But with you it's like I can't. Not because of you, but because I suddenly don't want too. From the second we had a conversation I knew I wanted to see you again, I just didn't think it was possible. So when I did I was shocked, and when you came outside and checked on me I wasn't gonna let that opportunity slip through my fingers twice. I mean it's obvious I'm attracted to you. You're everything I told myself to stay away from, and yet I didn't," She sighed, running her hand through her hair. "Soon as I let you touch me, I knew I was goner. Drunk or not, I wouldn't have done this with any other guy, cause I wouldn't have allowed it- and yet here we are- married. You make me lose my mind."

Andrew just stared at her before smiling. "It's not just you Sariya. I told you before I don't know what it is about you, but I feel like we were meant to cross paths."
