Andrew.
"Boy you know you could've told me from the very beginning about her." Lisa was giving Andrew a piece of her mind as they stood off to the side in the drive through. The dinner ended an half and hour ago and the guests were still leaving.
After Sariya was consoled and given so much love, the dinner rehearsal actually went back to normal. Well as normal as possible, she was stolen away from him by her father and they went to go talk.
"I know mama, I know." He chuckled. "But we didn't want too. That was our second time meeting, and ever after we started seeing each other we wanted to take things slow."
"Well how slow? Cause I could've sworn you were a married man now." Maria teased and Andrew waved her off. Lisa hummed.
"Exactly." She mumbled.
"Look that was not planned. We were drunk and we still don't remember that night. I mean I'm talking blacked out drunk."
"Well I'll cut you some slack, Sariya is a beautiful woman and I think the age difference does you some good. Maybe she can turn you into a man." Maria laughed, slapping her thigh. "Man I'm on a role tonight."
"Okay see now I wanna fight." Andrew started but Lisa used her hands to muff both of her children.
"Ouch." They winced in unison, rubbing their foreheads.
"Andrew I trust you, you are a smart young man and I can see that you really care about this girl. I just hope she cares about you the same. You and I both know that when your in, you jump in way to deep too fast. You two are married now, and don't know much about each other. Tonight proves that. Be careful with your heart but also be mindful of the decisions you make as a married man. I don't want to see either of you heart broken at the end of this year."
"Yeah." Maria agreed. "Maybe you guys will end up deciding that you don't even wanna divorce anymore. If that happens I demand you have a wedding."
Andrew smiled at his two ladies. "I'm hearing you both and I appreciate the support. This is why I'm so blessed to have been raised in our family. And I know I possibly have a lot on my hands dealing with Sariya but I don't care.... I really think she's the one. Every time I look at her, I swear I find myself lost in her beauty. I really think it's fate."
Lisa cooed and hugged him. "My baby boy is growing up so fast."
"Your a mommas boy and a hopeless romantic? Wow.. who are you and what did you do with my brother."
Andrew laughed. "I've always been a mommas boy and a hopeless romantic, don't get it twisted."
Maria rolled her eyes at him. "So let me guess, you're not coming back home with us huh?"
He looked behind him seeing Sariya talking to her father against her car. She must've felt his eyes on her because she looked back at him as well. They smiled at each other and Andrew turned back to his family.
"Yeah no I won't be back at home until the night before I leave. I have a wife to get to know still." He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows and Lisa slapped his arm.
"Don't be a pervert."
"I wasn't even talking about that ma." He winced again, holding his arm. "Jeez you really need to learn how to stop hitting us."
"I'm saying." Maria mumbled. "Been getting my ass whooped all my life. I'm tired of it."
"I don't care how old you two get, ass whooping will always be an option. But I'm tired and I'm ready to get off of this property. The longer I'm here to more I want to go fight that she devil your wife calls a mother." Lisa sighed as she leaned forward to kiss Andrews cheek. "I will see you tomorrow at the wedding, I love you."
