chapter 18

corbyn's pov
i can see the fears in y/n's eyes and at the same time she's shaking her head, telling me not to walk to them.

i don't listen what she is saying and keep walking to her. at this moment joseph pulls put a gun from his pocket making us two shocked.

but fortunately the next thing i hear is beeping from the cops' car. they run in and arrest him. i run over to y/n and untie her and put her in my arm.

'you're safe now baby.' i tell her and kiss her forehead.

the last thing i hear from her before she faints is 'i love you so much beaz.'

y/n's pov
*9 hours later*
i wake up in a strange room and found beaz is sleeping on a chair next to the bed i'm lying on with our hands tied.

i take his hand and place a soft kiss on it, making him awake.

'oh my god y/n you're fine!' he says like a happy kid and hug me tightly. happy tears running down our cheeks as he pats my back until the doctor comes in with a nurse behind.

they check on me and make sure i'm fine, then my family and friends rush in the room and hand me the food i like. i have some brownies and milk then pack my things up since the doctor said i can leave when she was checking.

i'm going back to school tomorrow and it's four now. i'm still hungry because brownies are not enough for me. so corbyn drives me to subway and grabs some food with me and the rest of them take my stuffs home.

'are you free tomorrow?' he asks during the car ride. 'yea, why?' i nod. 'i wanna take you somewhere.' he smiles, making me do the same.

and soon enough we finally arrived. i order something and take a seat and started eating rapidly.

'so... what are we?' i snap.

'mhm?' he's confused, 'what do you mean?'
'we can't just keep on stuck on here, beaz. we're all or nothing.'

'easy.' he stands up and hold my hand. he takes me out of the restaurant and we sneak into the school hallway, where we first met.

'alright,' he takes a deep breath, 'this time i'm being serious. i wanted to tell you this for a very long time, but i didn't because i didn't know how. but now, i know. y/n, would you have the honor to be my girlfriend?'

i'm not able to say anything but nod and cry because i'm totally speechless. however, part of me still doesn't know what's happening, part of me is still wondering if the whole situation is real or not.

he crashes his lips on mine as i kiss back and once he pull away help grabs my hand and we get out of school.

whoa. this is magical.

after he walks me home while he holds my hand. well, we're like a sweet couple. oh wait... we are!

let's say, this is the best day in my life, ever.

sorry guys i know i haven't been updated for a while cuz i have school and stuffs and bluh bluh bluh but don't worry christmas break is finally here so i'm quite free and btw i'm thinking about that i can make the next chapter to be the last chapter soooooo stay tuneeeeee <3
