I See You

I'm watching you, John.

I can see you wherever you go. Whenever you walk outside, go on a plane, sing on a stage, I always watch you.

I can see you, but you can't see me.

You don't notice a simple shadow, do you Johnny?

Of course you don't. I can hide myself easily anyways.

But, you are always oblivious to my presence, even now.

I watch as you sleep ever so peacefully, seeing your chest rise with each breath you take.

You don't know that I'm on this wall, neither do your friends. I can't touch you, but just watching you is enough.

I've been watching you for years, and yet here you are, so peaceful before me and unknowing of my desires.

I love it whenever I can touch your shadow though.

One day, you will know how much I want you.

It won't matter if you'll never be seen by your friends again. I don't care that they'll all think you're dead.

With your shadow, I will be complete.

In this shadowy world of mine, you will be my light.

I'm watching you, John.

You may not be able to see me yet, but I can see you.
