Real horror story time

So, time for something different this time.

Seeing how this book is over 50 chapters long already, I am kind of running low on ideas.

Still, I will take requests.

Now, I actually have an odd experience that I'd like to tell you all about here. It's not really that scary, but seeing how I've been bored for sometime now (thanks to this coronavirus quarantine) it just popped up in my thoughts.

Now, last year, my family decided to go down to Mississippi for Christmas, and I had a great time there.

However, we live in the northeast, so obviously, it was a long drive. My parents usually just drive to places instead of flying there, I'm not sure why though. Maybe because it's cheaper to do so?

Anyway, it was in the middle of the night on our drive down there when we stopped at a rest stop.

I don't remember where it was. 

Anyway, it was basically a building with several restaurants in it along with a place where you could buy snacks and bathrooms.

Now, there was this girl walking around asking people for help because her car was out of gas. I think that there was more than one person besides this girl who had the same problem, but I'm not sure of the exact amount.

They were all travelling together, supposedly.

Now, my mom ignored them and I didn't go near them.

After we left the building, we continued our trip and didn't see them again.

Now, the weird thing is, there was a gas station right in front of the building.

If they really needed gas, then why didn't they just go there?

Now, I can't be sure of this, but something tells me that there was a different reason why they were in that building that night.

I can't remember what the girl looks like too well.

So yeah, that's my story.

If they were there to do what I think they were doing, then I hope no one went outside with them.
