As stated in part 1, this is from George's perspective.

Paul's scream makes my mind run active with so many thoughts at once.

Before I know it though, it all calms down, making me unable to even think about what had just happened.

John doesn't move, instead staying still as I view the entrance to the dark hallway behind him.

She's here, the thought registers in my mind.

I don't move, but there's a part of me that wants to.

A part of me that doesn't want to meet my unavoidable fate.

I try to silence it, but the urge only grows stronger by the second.

Sure, we didn't believe Ringo when he said that the girl was a monster after the first night that she slept in the hotel room, but how could we?

I'm not even sure how Ringo came to knew that, but that's not important.

It was never important.

All that matters was that he knew the danger that she would bring, and we failed to heed his warnings.

We all ignored them until...

The morning came, where he had changed...

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Her insane laughter echoes in my head and, before I know it, I'm standing.

A part of me feels the need to run, even though I know that I'll never be able to escape my death.

I stare down at John for a moment, seeing that he is just staring at the stone floor.

If he has the same annoying urge that I do, then he is certainly a lot stronger than me...

I move to the side to take a step past him, but...

I see Ringo approaching from down the hall...

No...

Not Ringo...

Her...

Wearing his skin...

It feels as though my flesh and blood has turned to ice as she moves closer, the faint scent of smoke either coming from outside or from Paul's remains barely noticeable.

She walks closer and closer...

And yet, I stand still...

Before I know it, she's right there, standing just in the doorway.

John sighs...

And stands up...

His eyes closed, his head lowered, he doesn't even shake as I see her step closer to him.

He opens his eyes and stares at me, completely emotionless as I stare back.

"Give up... You knew that it was only a matter of time..."

Before I can respond...

Crash

John suddenly flies forward, right into the stone wall.

She moves past me swiftly, no doubt about to do to John what she did to Paul.

The urge to run overpowers me, and I give in.

Faster than I thought I ever could, I run through the hallway, hearing John's screams of pain echo along with the crackling of fire.

I refuse to look behind me to see if she's coming my way as everything goes quiet.

In less than a minute, I stop in front of the ladder that leads to the outside world.

For a brief moment, I stare at the mattress that lays across the room.

The rather large pile of ashes resting in front of it answers all the questions that I have left in my mind at this point...

A footstep...

I hear a footstep somewhere behind me, and I spring into action.

I climb the ladder, praying that the fire rain outside doesn't hit me as I do so.

Once I'm above ground, I take in a deep breath in an effort to calm my racing heart, but I find it hard to breathe.

As fast as I could, I drop onto the ground and close the hatch, even though I know that that's not going to stop her.

I fall to my knees, breathing harshly.

The scent of smoke is everywhere...

And the heat is almost unbearable...

I shake my head, forcing myself to stand up and take in my surroundings for a moment.

The sky is completely red...

There are no clouds...

There's not even a sun...

Nothing remains of the few trees around this area, for what remains of them is nothing but charcoal.

Even the grass below me has long since burnt away, leaving behind nothing but a dry, lifeless ground.

"AH!"

I scream as a piece of burning material lands on my arm.

I flail my arm wildly, letting the substance drop to the ground.

For a second, I think about inspecting the burn, but, another thought quickly takes hold of me.

She's still coming...

That hatch will open any moment now...

There's nothing to do but run...

Bracing myself, I sprint in a direction, not even flinching as another drop of fire lands on me.

I hear the hatch open, and that only makes me try harder to keep my speed up.

Each breath stings my lungs and the smoke burns my eyes, but I don't care.

As I keep running, hearing her run after me, I think.

Why am I even running?

She's going to get me once I even slow down.

It is only now that the part of me that wanted to flee from my troubles realizes that, truthfully, there is no way to escape...

"WHAT DO YOU EVEN WANT FROM ME!?"

I scream the question into the air.

She doesn't respond.

I don't expect her to...

Gracefully, I force myself to keep going at a constant speed, unwilling to let it look like I'll just go without an attempt to fight.

I'm not going to hide from here because I know that I can't.

I'm not going to let her kill me without any trouble, for that would just tell her that I'm weak.

I'm going to run till my heart gives out.

And once I collapse to the ground and she's standing over me, I will just smile and look back at her.

She'll get to me soon, but when she does, I'll be sure to let her know that I am strong, no matter what she does to me.

I laugh, panting as I continue sprinting into this hell before me...
