A Party

Hello John, how are you doing today

Paul seems happy, that I can say

George is silent, like all of you

Ringo's glad to be here too

No touching what's on the table

Especially the jar with the label

What's inside is very special to me

If only any of you could see

It is time for me to go

But I won't yet, don't worry so

They'll find you like this soon enough

All dead, sitting here with all of this stuff

Eyes serving as toppings for cakes

Gut streamers looking like snakes

Stitched smiles for all of you

I did the best I can do

This is a party for all

But I have to go down the hall

To leave through the back door

For I can't do much more

I can hear the sirens coming for us

But don't worry, don't make a fuss

They'll all stare in awe at you

And I can continue my work with others someday too
