Sea of Darkness

Alright, this one has some history behind it.

The picture above is the cover of an old Yellow Submarine fanfic of mine, and, as of now, it only has 9 chapters.

Basically, I lost my interest in it, and now, I do want to continue writing it in some way, but I'm not sure if I'm just going to continue where I left off or just rewrite it all together.

If I do decide to rewrite it, I will just create a new story and keep the old one and just label it as outdated.

Anyway, on to the story itself. It's basically going to explain what the main events of the story were going to be, but it's not going to spoil much if I do decide to return to it.

~

Come gather around in the shadow of night

I'll tell you all a tale of fright

Of a place that's better left empty

For each day you stay there is actually a century

It was there that a group were lost and lonely

From the Sea of Time can you get there only

For three days, they were trapped

In a black void that cannot be mapped

It was as if you were in space

Only there was no stars or anything there, not a trace

But on their third day of their visit

In the same way they had arrived, in less than a minute

A loud sound erupted from outside their vessel

And they all fell unconscious as they had before, for a strange feeling, they couldn't wrestle

Once they woke up, they were back in Pepperland

But a lot had changed, and they were panned

The landscape was unrecognizable, and no one knew who they were

And their vessel was destroyed for sure

They were taken to the land's leader, who talked to them in private

And she knew their names and couldn't believe it

After they told their story, she asked quietly

How many days were you gone, answer me rightfully

They all agreed on three days in response without issue

And that made her mind scramble as to what to do

After a moment, she took in a breath

And told them the truth that scared them almost to death

For the three days that had been in the Sea of Darkness

Three hundred years had passed for the rest of the world, no less

After that, well, there was nothing they could do

Their vessel was gone, and their time they couldn't return to

And so, I end this story uncertainly

I hope the truth, you can see

For, I was the person who told them how time passed

And I will never forget how long their scared expressions last

What were their names , you say

Well, I can tell you as you listen and lay

John, Paul, George, Ringo, and a friend named Jeremy

And even their situation I cannot remedy
