CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

oxxi. watching barry train isn't as fun as chloe imagined...

AFTER CHLOE LEFT STAR Labs, she had a talk with Barry, he was going to meet Oliver to train and Chloe wanted to watch what would happen so she made him speed her over with him.

"Hey!" Barry called out to Oliver as he set Chloe down, her shaking her head in distaste.

"I don't ever wanna do that again!" Chloe sighed before looking to Oliver, "Hey Oliver-"

"You're late. Barry how could you have super speed and still not be on time?" He turned to Chloe, "Hey, Allen."

"Still with the last names, Queen-" Chloe started before muttering, "I'll get my name out of you one day."

"Sorry, I guess the super tardiness kinda neutralizes it." Barry told Oliver, his face scrunched, as he went to stand next to him, "So how do we catch Bivolo here?" Barry asked.

"You're obviously not gonna catch him here, Barr." Chloe laughed to her younger brother.

"Remind me why your sisters here again?" Oliver questioned. "I wanted to watch you train him." The redhead shrugged. Oliver just continued, "Oh, no, we don't here. We're here to train, like Allen said."

"Stop calling me Allen, Oliver!"

Oliver just gave her a slight glare making Chloe frown.

"What? Like Rocky?" Barry had a goofy smile on his face. Oliver gave him a deadpan look, ignoring his comment, "I read your friend Iris' blog post on The Flash, and I visited all the crime scenes you fought at."

"Don't you sleep?" Barry questioned. Oliver ignored him, going on, "Last month, you took on a man named Leonard Snart." Chloe let out a small noise of shock, not expecting to hear the mans name from Oliver's mouth. That earned two confused looks, one from Barry, the other from Oliver. "What...?" Both of them brushed it off as Barry gave another grin, "We call him Captain Cold."

"We can talk about you giving your enemies silly code names later." Oliver was cut off by Chloe, who exclaimed, "I think it's a good code name! Also- Cisco comes up with the code names!" The men looked to her, making her mumble, "Okay... Shutting up now."

"You mean like over coffee with Deathstroke and The Huntress?" Barry sarcastically asked him.

"The point-" Oliver started looking down with the two siblings, "Is that you engaged Snart on a commuter train, which he derailed."

"Okay, there may have been some damage, but I got the job done, I was the hero." Barry argued.

Chloe face palmed, "It's not always about being the hero, Lil' Bro."

"Stop calling me that!"

Oliver once again looked done with the two, "Barry, when you approach a new environment, do you case every inch of it?" Barry didn't answer but his look told Oliver and Chloe he did not. "You could. You have the time." Barry nodded. "But you don't." Oliver walked off, continuing, "You just run in blind! There's a difference, Barry, between having powers, and having precision." Oliver told him as both Chloe and Barry followed after him.

"When I came in to you talking about going out and helping people, you said I could be an inspiration." Barry told Oliver.

Oliver grabbed his bow off of his motorcycle, "Living this life... Well it takes more than a mask. It takes discipline. And since you are probably as stubborn as I am-" Oliver was cut off by Barry, after seeing Oliver had loaded his bow with an arrow, "What is that for?" He demanded, pointing a finger at the bow and arrow.

"He's gonna shoot you, most likely." Chloe piped up from by Barry. Oliver nodded, "You're gonna run over there, you're gonna come back at me, and you're gonna get hit with an arrow."

Barry laughed, "No, I'm not."

"Stop being cocky!"

"Yes, you are." Oliver laughed, sort of mockingly.

"Okay, fine, I will humor you two." Barry told them before running over a bit further away.

"You may want to back up, Allen."

"Oh- I know." Chloe told Oliver, not mentioning the 'Allen' bit as she stepped back over onto the porch area.

"Ready?!" Barry called.

Oliver readied his bow, to Chloe it looked like he had said, "Ready." But she didn't know. And then Oliver released his arrow as Barry ran forward, catching it in his hand with a smirk.

"Nice try." Barry said to Oliver. Suddenly two arrows launched into his back. Chloe already knew that was going to happen, she had seen the 'traps' before hand. "Ooh- That's got to hurt."

Barry groaned at the impact, as Oliver calmly walked over. "What, you shot me?!" Barry panted out, panicked and surprised.

"We both said he would, Barr!" Chloe called from the porch walking over to them, Barry would heal, he'd be fine.

"I heard you heal fast." Was all Oliver said as he pulled the arrows out of Oliver, a squish and scream were heard making Chloe frown slightly. But then she remembered Barry would heal, he had super healing, he'd be fine.

"Oh, god!" Barry exclaimed.

"You were gonna get shot either way Barry." Chloe told him. Barry glared at her through the pain. Chloe grinned in response.

Here's a crappy chapter I made with no sleep!

Happy new years! I hope 2020 is better than 2019- ( 2021 Me laughing cuz 2020 was in fact NOT better than 2019 :,) ) It's already not going well for me lol, but it's not too bad.

Schools starting up next week and i'm dreading it lol- but it's fine, schools just school i guess.
