"When you have to go through EVERYTHING, to get that EVERYTHING."
It's so hard to be someone when you're confused about who or what you're. Tarun is never 'Who' he thought he would be. He has a secret which he is claimed of hiding from everyone. Nei...

When we reach our driveway, I see mom's Alto. Mr Moore didn't just drop me but he stayed for dinner also. My mom let him. It's like he is more in our house than in his own. It's irritating. But it's fine too at the same time because he is alone. I've been to his house many times. It's kind of big and been alone there, it's not good. It might be even depressing. I don't know what he did to my mom, that she is not acting crazy. But he never acted crazy, sure he cried but he acts normal most of the time, how can someone be so perfect.
They are in the kitchen right now, mom just laughed at what Mr Moore said. Do mom feels happier around him than dad? No. It can't be.
They laugh again. And I'm sitting on the couch in the living room trying to watch TV. And their laughing is disturbing me. Well, not really, but the fact that Mr Moore can make mom laugh is. I think this is how mom is, laughing at everybody's joke even it's not so ever funny. I take the remote and kept the volume high. I'm watching 'How to get away from a murderer' and this show is so good. Mostly my friends and I watch the same show and talk about it together. It's fun.
I hear firing gunshots. My brother is sitting beside me. Eyes focused on the phone, why mom allows him to play on her phone?
"What are you playing?" I ask him.
"Call of duty." He says this so slow, I didn't hear it properly. What type of game is that?
"What? Call the beauty?"
He looks at me. Suddenly, laughs out. He is laughing so hard, it's making me laugh too. You know, that kind of laugh where you jerk your hands and legs everywhere. Okay. I heard it wrong. My fault.
"Now, I'll tell this to my friends. It's so funny." He tells me.
I point a finger towards him. "See, I gave you a new joke."
My phone vibrates in my pocket. I take it out and opens the inbox. It's an unknown number. Who it can be? Maybe it's Abhimanyu. He said he will call me. But when I open the message, I shouldn't have opened it in the first place. Because it's Praful. Ugh.
Praful : Hey! Praful here.
Why on earth she is messaging me.
Me : Hey?
Praful : Dude, thank you for recommending me that book. It was so good.
Me : What? I didn't recommend you anything.
Praful : Mahima did and she told me you recommended her, so practically you recommended me.
Me: Which one?
Praful : You know, The silent patient.
Me : I haven't read that yet. I just saw the reviews.
