I stare at him in shock as he settle on the couch and pulls me into his lap. "It hurts, right?" I nod my head lightly, too scared to answer. I just remember falling asleep on the floor and I woke up cuddled against Tristian. I don't know when he came in but I did notice the small smile on his lips. He's no longer angry at me.
"It hurt me more because I love you. I was so scared and hurt seeing you in Troy's arms. The shock on your face when you saw me is more than enough for me to realize that you didn't know it was me. I know they cheated you but still it hurts, Love and I never felt it before." His words are soft and calm.

Tristian smiles. "Eight in the night. Let's feed you and then go to sleep." Dammit!
"Take me to my home. Soon!"
"What?"
I immediately get out of his lap and stand on my feet. I pull his hand, forcing him to get up. "We need to leave. Now!"
He stares at me in confusion. "Wh-"
"Please," I tell him, his face softens. He stands up and kisses my hair.
"Okay!"
