Lucy -
Sparring with the master was a really wrong idea, I was really hurt. I was sure I had a hundred bruises already. After hitting me a couple of times rendering me defenseless, he finally tackled me down.

"You're hurting me" I finally said

He released me and I heaved a deep sigh of relief, he got up and stared at me closely "how do you feel?" he asked

"hurt, wounded"

He stretched out his hand to raise me up, I reached out for his hand and held it. As he was about pulling me up, he suddenly pushed me hard to the floor.

I groaned "what was that for?"

"You shouldn't trust your opponent, who knows, I could turn out to be your enemy".

"That's totally unfair "

"Life is unfair" he squatted in front of me "I know what you were up to today"he said

"What?"

"You, playing the part of an hero"

"I was just trying to help"

"Listen, Lucy, you're an assassin not an hero. You can't go about helping people"

"But, I should be able to interact with people, it's impossible not to, it's an high school"

"I know that but if you get obsessed with them, you'll turn out to be as pathetic as them, their feelings will penetrate into you and you'll be like them. You could hate being an assassin but it's the decision you've made". He got up "go get yourself cleaned up "

He walked out of the training room, his words made me really scared.

Taylor -
I had to know her, I watched her closely, she was standing in front of her locker, taking some books. I walked up to her putting on the best smile I could put on.

"Hey" I said "I'm Taylor Graham, I'm the girl you saved from Jayden"

She closed her locker and looked at me "I know that" she said.

She began walking and I followed, she stopped at the drinking fountain and drank some water, then she continued walking not acknowledging my presence

"Can I at least know your name? " I said

"No, there's no need for that "

"But why? "

She gave no response

"Fine, I just wanted to thank you for saving me" she remained quiet

"Can I at least have your number" I added "where you live"

She stopped "You can at least leave me alone and let me concentrate on where I'm heading to".

Some of my books fell, I bent down to pick them, by the time I was up, she was long gone. This was gonna be harder than I thought.

I was in gym class, one of the classes I hated the most, playing dodge ball was one of my greatest fears. I saw her sitting on the bleachers, staring at the game, I still couldn't figure out why she was being so harsh to me but this didn't stop me from wanting to know her. Suddenly, something interrupted my thoughts, I was on the floor groaning in pain. I got hit by a dodge ball, I managed to get up from the floor, I staggered to the bleachers and sat being a bit distant from her.

"You're dumb" she said.

"What? " I asked, trying to figure out why she said that

"You're dumb" she repeated
