Jayden –
"I really need you all to work hard on this project" Mrs. Martin said "it's really important and don't leave all the work in your partner" I could see her shift her gaze towards Lucy "Good luck"Soon, the bell went off and most people began to troop out of the classroom. I was packing my things, preparing to leave until something very unexpected happened – Lucy was standing in front of me and it definitely seemed like she was going to talk.
"How about working on the dumb project"
I was searching for the most suitable words to say, she was definitely waiting for an answer but I thought of nothing
"Fine" I finally said
I thought about my last encounter with her when she almost hit me. I never expected her to approach me after that so it was surprising for me even though everyone seemed to have forgotten about how Matt tried to humiliate her
"When?" she asked
"Whenever you're ready, I was thinking you weren't gonna work on the project"
"Well" she rolled eyes "I'm making an effort"
"Where should we meet?"
"I don't know" she shrugged
"My house?"
"Definitely not" she sighed "let's meet at the coffee shop across the street tomorrow" she walked off.
I had plans with my brothers the next day and she didn't even bother to listen to my suggestions, we didn't even agree on the time to meet. She was really a pain in the ass, she acted so arrogant, rude and selfish. Keeping up with her terrible attitude would be a task.

"I'm sorry our plans for today are canceled" I told Ray and Jason
"What could be more important?" Ray said
"I have a project to work on"
"You can do that some other time" Jason said
"Well, I can but I got paired up with someone that's difficult to work with"
"A girl?" Ray asked
"Yeah, it's a girl" I sighed
"Oh" Jason smirked
"Cut it out, she's the worst girl I've ever met, I don't like her"
They both grinned, my brothers were being annoying. Lucy and I can never have a thing going on between us. They just didn't understand.
"Have fun working on your project then" Ray said
"Trust me, it's not gonna be fun" I sighed

I saw her sitting in front of the coffee shop, folding her arms and checking the time constantly. She was definitely waiting for my arrival and certainly, she would have another tantrum. After watching her for a few minutes in my car, I finally approached her.
"Hey" I said
"You're late" she rolled her eyes
"Well, I'm not because you didn't give a time to meet"
"Really" she said "when do you expect people to meet on a Saturday?"
"3 A.M?" I said sarcastically. It was amusing how she was trying to put the blame on me "how do you expect me to know that?"
"You could have come earlier"
"I came at the time which suits me, it's not my fault"
"Now you're being selfish"
