Jayden –
My weekend was a hit; my first mission was one I would never forget in my life. I was rewarded for the role I played in the mission. That was commendable and a good sign. However I couldn't stop thinking about the fight I had with the assassin. It was a girl and I was very sure about that, we hurt each other badly but I kept wondering while we didn't kill each other when we had every chance to. I just shot her arm when I had every chance to kill her. Something about her felt familiar and different but I couldn't figure out how. I really wanted to know the face behind that mask even though it seemed so impossible. I wanted to find her identity no matter what, not because she was an assassin but because I was just curious, I felt like knowing her and this was really weird.
Lucy and I were not still in good terms with each other and we had a project together. I ended up working on the project alone; it was a piece of cake though. I wasn't exactly wishing for Lucy and I to be friends but we could stop being enemies. It could be possible.Lucy –
I sat down quietly in class, staring blankly. I was finding hard to concentrate. I felt so empty and that was because my medallion was missing. The medallion meant so much to me and I was ready to do anything to find it. What if it fell when I was in a fight with Jayden? What if he had my medallion? I knew I was toast if my assumptions were correct, my identity would be known and I would be taken to prison this time around. I couldn't even explain my ordeal to anyone, what would I tell the master? That I went to a place I wasn't supposed to go and took a medallion? I would sound so stupid.
My thoughts made me to partly concentrate in class until I heard my name."Miss Bennett and Mr Croft, it's time to present your project" Mrs Martin said
I actually forgot about the stupid project, I didn't care anyway. I got up from my seat, folding my arms as I walked to the front of the class. Jayden did the same, staying some inches away from me. He held out a piece of paper and began to read the contents aloud. He was such a show off.
Soon, he was done with reading and the teacher clapped "that was impressive Jayden" she beamed "what about you Lucy, what role did you play in the project?"
"Um, history has a great relevance to us all, that's all I've got to say" I shrugged
"You two didn't work on this project together, right?" Mrs Martin folded her arms
"We did" Jayden said. I began to wonder why he said that.
"No, we didn't" I said, Jayden gave me a frustrated look, I just rolled my eyes "I made it clear that I didn't want to work with him, I meant it"
"So you mean you two didn't work together?"
"I just said that" I retorted
"Fine" Mrs Martin sighed "this presentation deserves an A but you didn't work on it together so I'm giving you a C, also I'm making you both project partners for the rest of the semester"
"You've gotta be kidding me, I just said I didn't want him as my project partner and you're making us partners for the rest of the semester"
"Oh yeah, Jayden seems fine with it"
I glared at Jayden "say something, we can't stand each other"
Jayden gave one of those his annoying smirks "if that's what you want ma'am, my opinion doesn't matter"
I couldn't believe Jayden this time around.
"Listen, Lucy" Mrs Martin said "I'm the teacher and what I say is final. You'll have to choose between your grades and your personal feelings; whatever you decide on affects the both of you. Go back to your seats.I just wished the day wouldn't get any worse.

I really wanted to say a piece of my mind to Jayden. I watched him standing by his locker talking to a couple of girls which were literally drooling all over him. The way he stared, winked and ran his fingers through his hair constantly was enough reason for them to be all clingy. It disgusted me.
