Jordan –
Gathering my facts together, placing them in the right sequence and order would make me reach my target. A tip of an iceberg wasn't going to be enough. It was time to speed things up, I knew it wouldn't be easy but it would work out. Revenge felt really good.
I strapped on my back pack and headed towards my direction.Taylor –
Lucy's behaviour kept bothering me, she skipped school a lot, she acted really cold to everyone and kept to herself, she didn't smile or smirk at anything I said like she did before. I couldn't let her face her problems alone; I was ready to take the risk. To find out whom she really was and what she was up to.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I wasn't concentrating on where I was heading to and before I knew it I bumped into Jordan, our things were scattered all over the floor."I'm so sorry" I squatted to help him pick his things up
"No worries, I wasn't concentrating either" he smiled
I picked up a folder, as I was about to hand it over to him, it dropped and many sheets of paper fell alongside some photographs.
"Oh my God, I'm so so sorry Jordan, I'm so clumsy" I looked down at the papers and picked up a sheet. The papers were way too suspicious and I needed information.
"Jordan, what are these papers for?" so much for not minding my own damn business.
He forced a smile, he was trying to be nice even though I deserved to be cussed out by him for intruding in his privacy "um, they're for my on-going project" we got up.
I needed to distract him and I needed to think fast "a project? For what class?"
"A private class" he sighed, he was really keeping his cool attitude towards me
"I didn't know you attend private classes"
"Now you know"
"What are the classes about?"
"Linguistics"
Unknown to him I had carefully stood on a photograph; I was trying to maintain my balance while I stood on it.
"That's great" I mused "you know what, I'll see you around"
"Yeah, that would be cool"
I made sure he was completely out of sight; I picked up the photograph and kept it in between my books.
I had a weird intuition about Jordan; he looked strange like he was hiding so many things. It was a good explanation why he was friends with Lucy. The times I saw him interact with Lucy gave me the creeps like he had something to do with her which was beyond their friendship.
I decided to follow Jordan a little. It was about time risks were taken.Jayden –
Kyra entered my room and sat on my bed, distracting me a little bit from what I was doing."The murder case has been tackled" she said
"That's great" I said staring at my computer
"The victim was killed by someone he was indebted to"
I gave no response because I was paying so much attention to what I was doing on my computer
"Now I hate your response, what are so busy with?"
"While I was helping you to check on some files concerning the recent murder case, something caught my attention"
"And what's that?"
"The Anderson Christmas eve murder"
"What's so fascinating about that" she said pointing at the file in the computer
