Lucy
I was in Taylor's home, for the first time ever, things were different now and I was relieved that I had someone I could confide in. We were in her room, sitting on her bed and talking .
"I thought I'd never find a trace of my dad" Taylor said
"Your dad? you found him?"
She got up and reached for her bedside drawer, she opened it and took out a photograph.
"Do you happen to know who this is?" she pointed at a male figure in the photograph.
I stared at it for a while – I certainly knew him "Steve Graham" I said.
She raised an eyebrow "any ideas?"
"Steve Graham is your father" I was apparently astonished "oh my God"
"My pathetic father" she sighed
The thoughts began to surface, Taylor was the little girl in the photograph I found in the master's office – he had a family, a family which he abandoned. If he didn't care about his family anymore, why did he keep a picture of them?
"It's better, if I don't regard him as my father anymore, it would make my life less miserable. It's better not to have a father than to have one who doesn't care that I live or not"
"I'm so sorry, Taylor" I leaned forward making my medallion dangle around my neck.
"You don't have to be sorry, its fine" she stopped staring at my medallion "how did you get that?"
"You mean my medallion?"
"Yeah" she said "Your medallion?"
"Yes, I lost it for a while and just found it"
"How did you get it?"
"It belonged to my sister before I lost her" I sighed
"I'm so sorry, lucy"
"It's fine. It's been years now"
She looked at it closely "where did you find it?"
"It was lying helplessly in the hallway"
"Wow" she let out a soft chuckle "can I have a look?"
"Sure" I removed the medallion and handed it over to her.
She looked at it more closely "F-R-E-C-A-T" she spelled out
"I was the one who actually dropped it in the hallway while I was trying to find out these letters. I actually thought it belonged to Jordan because I took it from his house"
"Wow, I had know idea FRECAT was engraved on my medallion" I said in disbelief.
"If it's yours, why would Jordan have it"
"That's what I don't seem to understand"
Jayden –
Kyra and I were working on our research but she seemed to be a little mad at me.
"Jayden" she said sternly "you went against the FBI"
"I did that?" I tried playing dumb
"Why would you go on a mission like that without informing anyone?"
"I'm sorry Kyra, I just thought I could handle it alone" I sighed "how did you find me anyway?"
"I bugged you, GPS"
"Great" I rolled my eyes "can you unbug me now?"
"No, don't think so. It could be of use to me incase you try something stupid again"
