chapter 24-Xander

Today was the day. I was finally going to ask her.  

It's been 3 years since we ran away together. In that time a lot has happened. Not only did Maddies twin and her boyfriend join us here (in their own house of course) but we now have a lot of little ones running around.
Maddie found out that she was pregnant 5 weeks after we ran away. We only expected one or two but we got 9!it was hectic at first. About 3 months later Lilly joined us and they where a HUGE help.
I can't imagine my life being any better.
Well, that is if she says yes. I'm a nervous wreck.
Just then Lilly boyfriend, Logan walks in. He's about the same age as me. I'm a year older than him.
"How you doing?" he asks me.
"Fine" I reply.
"And how are you really doing?" he pushes.
"I'm a nervous wreck man. I mean what if she says no? What am I going to do then?" I rant releasing all my stress on him.
"She won't say no. How could she? You're an amazing guy and have you seen the way she looks at you? You've both got it bad. You'll be fine" he reassures me.
"Thanks. I really needed that." I say. "What are the girls doing?"
"I believe that Lilly is helping Maddie get the kids in bed before getting her ready for your date" he informs me.
"Okay. What should I say to her?" I ask.
"Just say how you feel. Speak from the heart." he tells me. "Now enough of this talking go get changed and PLEASE don't forget the ring this time." he commands me before walking away. "I'm gonna go find the girls." he calls on his way out.
I go take a bath before picking out a pair of black jeans and a light blue shirt that's open with a white one underneath. I have white Nike trainers on.

So you all loved it when I did an outfit for Maddie on their first date so I thought I'd do their outfits for this one.

I put on my jacket slipping the ring into the pocket.
The last 3 dates I was planing to propose but all 3 I have forgotten the ring. I've got a good feeling about this one though. Its hard to tell if that's what it is with all these butterflies but I think, I hope that it's a good feeling.
I sit down on the seat beside the door waiting for what feels like forever. Suddenly she appears on the stairs in what can only be described as the most beautiful red dress I've ever seen. It finished just before her knees with a little silver belt. She had black high heels on and was holding a black bag.

When she reached the bottom of the stairs she twirled around revealing the backless back of the dress.
"wow!" is all I can say.
"I look horrible! Maybe I should go change" she gushes before turning to run upstairs.
"No wait!" I call after her. She turns around to look at me. "You look perfect!"
She blushes a lot and whispers "Thank you" before coming back down to the bottom of the stairs. I pull her close hugging her while whispering in her ear "let's go" to which she just nods.
I pull away before slamming my lips against hers in a passionate kiss.
After a while we hear Logan clear his throat. Coming back to reality we pull apart as the fireworks begin to fade.
"Well you better get going or you're going to be late." Lilly say ushering us out our own house.
Over the past few years a few other couples in a similar position to us have moved here. There is now a total of 14 houses here and one restaurant. We're not going there though. No. I have something much more special planed.
I hold her hand in mine and pull her gently towards where our date will be, where I'll ask her my question.
She has a confused look on her face but doesn't ask any questions.
I lead her into the forest to a tree. The tree has a love heart with our initials carved into it. Underneath is a blanket with a picnic basket on it. I look over at her. Her beautiful face that I would give the world too to make happy.
"When did you do this?" she asks shock all over her face.
"When Lilly came over 3 hours ago I snuck out to set up. Then I went to their house and cooked the mean which Logan brought out here while I got ready." I explain.
"It's beautiful" she says.
"Yes. There's only one thing that I know that even more beautiful" I tell her.
"And what's that?" She asks.
"You. Maddie. Ever since I met you I've loved you ever since I met you and I tried to deny it but you wouldn't let me. You are the other half of my soul. My mate. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. What do you say?" by this point I had been on one knee for a while and it was starting to hurt. She had tears in her eyes as she just stared at me.
" Of course I will! I love you so much. Now get up and let's eat cus I'm starving.

Firstly 918 words are in this chapter! Im surprised I managed to write that many words.

And secondly I WANT A XANDER! How about you guys? He's just so caring.

Anyway I'm sorry to say but the last chapter will be the next one.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this book just as much as I enjoyed writing it. I really don't want it to end but it must.
