chapter 19- Maddie

Im not going to deny that I was worried.
Xander had been kicked out of his house and what was I going to do.
We were running away from his life but what about mine?
What about my sister?
I'll. Think about this later. Right now all that matters is guy standing next to me.
Just then I hear a scream off in the distance.
Not again I think. What could it be this time?
Then I remember the hatchling!
Oh no.
What has he done?
"come on! I think I know what that is." I say to Xander.
"Maddie!" he says.
"yes." I say impatient.
"I love you." he says and my face softens.
"I love you too." I say and then we're kissing passionately and for a moment I forget about everything apart from him.
"I need to go!" I tell him.
"then I'm coming with you! I don't ever want to be apart again!" he says and I realise that he is my life. I would take a bullet for him if I had to. It's not as though it would kill me but it is the most painful thing you can use on a vampire.
"Its not safe for you to come!" I tell him being brought back into the moment.
"I don't care!" He exclaims. "I would do anything for you! I would even die just so you could survive! Please! I'm nothing without you!"
" Fine. But if I tell you to run or leave me then you do! Promise me you will!" I plead.
"I promise!" he says.
"Fine then. You can come. Just don't die!" I say firmly.
"I wont! Trust me!" He says.
With that I grab his hand and start dragging him in the direction of where I told the hatchling to stay.

So I know that it seems like this chapter isn't that relevant right now but it will help in future chapters.
