As we run I was only thinking about one thing. Maddie.
I can't believe I actually did that and I can't believe that she felt the same way.
This was going to be very complicated for both of us but I'm sure we can make it work.
Maybe we could run away together.
Suddenly I hear a gun shot in the distance.
"they have guns?" I ask Maddie. "why didn't you tell me that? You know... Just incase I happen to run into one of them and all of a sudden I've got a gun to my head that I didn't know about!"
"I didn't see guns" she whispers just loud enough that only I can hear. "and keep your voice down! They might hear you!"
"good point." I reply.
After that we just run in silence for about half an hour until we reach the edge of the woods. We were back.
Back home.
I started to walk off towards my house when I heard her say my name.
"Xander!" I turn around to look at her. "what are we? This is so confusing for me! Are we just friends or are we more? Are we like-like a thing now? ANSWER ME XANDER! Please!"
"we can be anything you want us to be. Although there is one thing I would like to ask you..." I say.
"what?" she asks, a little more calm now.
"if it's alright with you.... Would you be my girlfriend?"
"I-I-I-i-I" I hear her stuttering. "I would love to but...." of course there's a but. "but what about our family's? I don't know about you but mine would flip if they knew I even knew a werewolf nevermind went out with one!"
"but we could run away! We don't need anyone else! I'm happy as long as I'm with you! I don't care about anyone else!" I tell her.
"that's not true Xander. You care about your sister and I'm sure you care about you're mum!" she whispers.
"see you tomorrow?" I ask her.
"of course." she says.
As I turn to walk away I hear her say 4 words that make my life!
"I love you Xander."
When I got home I could instantly tell something was wrong.
I ran inside and into the kitchen where I found my mum on the floor screaming in pain.
"they're coming!" was all she managed to get out before another wave of pain must of come and she screamed again.
