They both then started binding the arrows together with the bow strings. When they were done, Lan Zhan then set up the communication link between them.

Lan Zhan widened his eyes "Wei Ying!" Wei Ying giggled and kissed Lan Zhan but Lan Zhan held him close, not letting go.

Wei Ying then got in and found the Yin Metal Sword again. "Found it" He told Lan Zhan. "Wei Ying, be careful" Lan Zhan replied.

Wei Ying smirked and said "Don't worry, I still owe you more rounds" Lan Zhan smiled as he agreed "Mn"

"Come, YiLing Patriarch isn't scared of you" Wei Ying muttered. With determination, he gripped the sword.

All the resentment energy flooded Wei Ying as he clenched his teeth and pulled the sword out. Wei Ying had been cultivating the way he did when he lost his golden core for some time.

However, the resentment energy was indeed too much. Wei Ying held on as he evaded the tortoise who shrieked when the sword was pulled out.

Once they were out, Lan Zhan immediately tied the strings around XuanWu's neck. Lan Zhan had his experience and had been strengthening the technique.

Wei Ying gave Lan Zhan a smile while holding on tightly. Lan Zhan immediately tightened his grip and pulled, not caring that the strings were also hurting himself.

Not before long, XuanWu's neck snapped into half and Wei Ying fell into the pool. Lan Zhan immediately took off his outer robe and pulled Wei Ying out, then carried him to their hideout.

Wei Ying was shivering and Lan Zhan placed him close to the fire. Wei Ying opened his eyes and grinned "Lan Zhan, I love you" then fell unconscious.

Lan Zhan immediately sent him spiritual energy, till his condition was much more stable. At least this time Wei Ying wasn't feverish. He just needed rest.

Lan Zhan then took off Wei Ying's clothes and dried him, before dressing him with his outer robe.

Lan Zhan then cuddled Wei Ying, letting Wei Ying sleep while leaning on his shoulder. Lan Zhan looked at Wei Ying and kept checking up on him, occasionally singing "Wu Ji" for Wei Ying, occasionally showering him with kisses.

After half a day, Wei Ying woke up. Lan Zhan immediately supported him while asking "Wei Ying, how are you feeling?"

"I'm alright" Wei Ying grinned, though feeling a little weak. Lan Zhan immediately took out some spicy and non-spicy snacks.

"Which do you want?" Lan Zhan asked. Wei Ying chuckled and teased "You~" Lan Zhan grabbed Wei Ying's hand "Wei Ying..."

Wei Ying grinned "I pick this dried fish fillet" Lan Zhan opened the packet and passed it to Wei Ying. Wei Ying looked at Lan Zhan and smirked.

"Lan Zhan, come here" Wei Ying waved. Lan Zhan bent down and Wei Ying whispered in his ear "after i eat... i want you"

Wei Ying laughed seeing Lan Zhan's ear turning red. Lan Zhan held onto Wei Ying and kissed him deeply.

Wei Ying panicked "Lan Zhan! Let me eat first" Lan Zhan gave Wei Ying a smile "I was only kissing you"

Wei Ying blushed and huffed as he ate his packet of dried fish fillet. He then realised his clothes were drying and he was wearing Lan Zhan's outer robes.

Lan Zhan went to collect more sticks for the fire. When he came back, he was shocked as he dropped all the sticks he was holding, staring wide-eyed.
