Chapt 15 - Protect

In 1 more day's time, Wei Ying had to leave for Burial Mounds and Lan Zhan would go to Cloud Recesses, then Lotus Pier.

Wei Ying was sitting on Lan Zhan's lap again. "Lan Zhan, please... help me protect Lotus Pier" Wei Ying said, leaning against Lan Zhan's chest.

Lan Zhan kissed Wei Ying and nodded his head "I will, Wei Ying, you must be careful" Wei Ying gave Lan Zhan a kiss too. "I will"

After some time, Wei Ying sat up and looked at Lan Zhan "Lan Zhan, if i take more than a month, don't wait for me"

Lan Zhan shook his head and was about to speak when Wei Ying interrupted him. "Lan Zhan, being able to marry you is really the best thing that happened to me. You know that I love you right?"

Lan Zhan nodded his head as Wei Ying continued "I'm glad that we got married before anything happened. So, if something does happen, I'm already happy enough that I got the chance to marry the No. 1 guy in the universe"

"Wei Ying" Lan Zhan said, pulling Wei Ying into his embrace "Don't say things like that. You know I can't live without you"

Wei Ying shook his head "You can, Lan Er Ge Ge, you can. You have to live and help me protect the people around me and you."

"Wei Ying, you protect them yourself" Lan Zhan replied. Wei Ying crashed his head into Lan Zhan's shoulders, hugging him tight.

Everyone else might not know, but the two of them knew. Wei Ying going to Burial Mounds this time is far more dangerous.

First, he has his golden core, which the resentment energy will love to attack. Second, he does not have that big of a hatred and a huge desire for revenge like his other version had.

He could pour in the feelings he felt from his other version but knowing that they're safe and have a plan against Wen Sect, Wei Ying wouldn't have that much motivation.

Third, what if the same things did not happen? What if the resentment energy didn't want to help him and instead, decides to destroy him?

"Lan Zhan, I'm just saying if" Wei Ying said. Lan Zhan shook his head "You'll be fine" Wei Ying sat up again. "Lan Zhan! You know anything can happen! I don't want you to wait for me!"

Lan Zhan grabbed Wei Ying's waist in case Wei Ying wanted to stand up and walk away. "Wei Ying, I don't have anyone else to wait for"

"But I don't want you to suffer" Wei Ying said, tears welling up in his eyes. Lan Zhan gave him a kiss "Then don't talk about the if. It won't happen"

Wei Ying hugged Lan Zhan tightly, very tightly. As he felt Lan Zhan's warmth and Lan Zhan stroking his back, a tear escaped Wei Ying even though he bit his lip.

When he felt Lan Zhan wrapping his arms around him, Wei Ying trembled "Lan Zhan, I'm scared" Lan Zhan replied "I know" while still hugging Wei Ying tightly.

Wei Ying continued "I'm scared of losing you. I'm scared I can't spend more time with you. I still have many things I want to do with you. And it hurts me so much seeing you suffer"

Lan Zhan hugged Wei Ying tighter "Wei Ying, listen. We'll build the hut on the mountain behind Cloud Recesses. I'll learn how to cook all your favourite dishes. I'll spend more time on you than on the sect. We'll have our everyday is everyday activity everday and I'll cuddle you to sleep every night. I'll follow you to Yunmeng and explore the places we haven't explored together. We'll go on night-hunts often and travel about. We'll also spend every festival, celebration and anniversary together..."

Lan Zhan listed all the suggestions Wei Ying made 4 days ago. Wei Ying teared up hearing them. He had already forgotten some of them but Lan Zhan did not miss a single one.

When Lan Zhan was done, he said "Wei Ying, I love you" Wei Ying gave Lan Zhan a deep yet gentle kiss "Lan Zhan, I love you the most"

Lan Zhan smiled and replied "Mn, so don't think about leaving me behind" Wei Ying felt a little more confident in himself "Mn, Lan Er Ge Ge, then I'll ask you to wait for me."

Lan Zhan kissed Wei Ying "I will. Forever" Wei Ying replied "But still, in the event I..." Lan Zhan stopped him by kissing him. "Don't talk about that"

Wei Ying smiled. He nodded his head and snuggled against Lan Zhan. Wei Ying sighed contentedly, then shouted "Lan Zhan! I really really really really love you!"

Lan Zhan kissed Wei Ying "Wei Ying, I really really really really love you too" Wei Ying smiled and hugged Lan Zhan tightly. Lan Zhan kissed Wei Ying's cheek while hugging him back.

Wei Ying giggled and pursed his lips "Kiss here too" Lan Zhan gladly complied as they kissed, which got heated up over time.

"Wei Ying, these days..." Lan Zhan wanted to describe how Wei Ying wanted sex now and then but did not know how to say it.

"Lan Er Ge Ge, I told you I want you inside me all the time and we have to make up for the everydays we missed" Wei Ying replied.

Lan Zhan went back to Cloud Recesses to prepare and plan the attack with the other sects, while Wei Ying headed to Burial Mounds.
