Isn't it sad in life when there's that one person that comes into your world and makes the living out of it, is soon to be gone in an instant?

Niall's brain has been failing him miserably.

Now-a-days, I've been waking up alone. No Niall. No sunshine. Nothing. He's been in the hospital the last few weeks; his days on Earth are finally up.

Today I woke, and looked up at the calendar that Niall and I had created not so long ago. This morning, I did probably one of the most hardest things I've ever had to do; I crossed out the second to the last day of Niall's final year.

These last two days, Niall will be coming home. He made it pretty clear that he, in fact, did not want to die in a hospital bed and would much rather die on his own bed.

It's about 9:24pm and Niall's not home.

I know exactly where Niall is and I honestly don't want to intrude, but I can't help but feel worried for the boy I love. So, I go to Niall's favorite places to be at when he's having a hard time.

I went to Tommy's Rocket first, I knew Niall would visit there first before going off, seeing as Tom and him have a good friendship.

"Hi there, Tommy." I say as I walk into the diner.

"Hello, Harry. Niall left a few hours ago. Truly terrible how tomorrow's the last day, huh?"

I say, "Saddening, really."

"Go check up on the boy. He goes a little mad sometimes."

Unknown Pleasures.

The scrubby old words were still printed in the old rundown shop. I enter and don't expect what I see; everything was one grand mess.

I call out for Niall's name, hoping that he might still be here, but nothing other than silence and the sound of wind was heard.

I take the rather short path to the tracks Niall always went to, and to my surprise, I heard screams. No, not torrid, bloody screams as if someone were to be kidnapped, oh no. These were screams of pain of the heart and purity of hate towards something.

There was Niall, collapsed in the tracks with tears running down his face as he screamed at the moon.

After minutes upon hearing Niall curse and throw all of his feelings and hatred towards the poor moon, he silenced.

"I know you've been there this whole time, Harry." He whispered.

I half smiled, "Thought you might need someone to hold onto afterwards."

"Are you better, now?" I say, walking towards Niall and sitting beside him.

"I think my throat is bleeding. I went mad, Harry."

I wrapped my arms around the boy as I said, "Sometimes we all need to go a little mad just to feel the slightest bit better."

The rest of the night we laid in the tracks, not bothered by the fact that a train could come any minute now and kill the both of us. We cared of nothing but each other.

"Please don't let go." He whispered, new freshly fond tears streaming down his cheeks once again.

I smiled a sad smile, "I wasn't planning on it."

As many of you all can now tell, next chapter is the last chapter, and then an epilogue. (maybe?)

I'm actually very sad that this story is ending already. I actually didn't believe I'd even get through chapter one. I also didn't believe I would get this many reads. Truly an honor to write for you all.

Much love. x
