Garnet and Jade followed Topaz outside, and Topaz walked over to Coral, who was waiting on the shore. "Since we watched you two fuse, we're gonna let you watch us fuse," Coral explained. Topaz and Coral started dancing, and then they fused into a totally new Gem. "I'm Kunzite. S-so, whaddya think?" They asked. "You guys... look amazing together!" Jade exclaimed. Garnet took off her shades and looked at the new fusion with wide eyes. "Y-you look so stable! Almost as stable as me!" Jade and Garnet smiled and stared at Kunzite with starry eyes. "I can't believe you guys let us watch you fuse! You didn't have to do this, y'know," Jade said. "I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. Coral and Topaz invaded your privacy by watching you guys fuse without your permission, so they wanted to let you watch them fuse." Jade suddenly hugged Kunzite. "Thank you," she told them. "You're the best." Garnet joined the hug and Kunzite hugged them back. "I love you guys," Kunzite told Jade and Garnet. Jade and Garnet pulled away from the hug. "Could one of you get the others? I want them to meet me," Kunzite asked. Jade nodded and ran inside to tell everyone else.
"C'mon! You guys have gotta see this!" Jade said and pulled on Pearl's arm. "Okay, okay. We're coming." Pearl stopped and stared at Kunzite. "Wh-who's that...?" She asked. "Meet Kunzite! They're a fusion!" The Gems ran down the stairs to the beach to meet them. "Did Blue Topaz and Pink Coral really fuse?!" Peridot asked. "Heh heh, yep! They did!" Lapis smiled. "Nice," she said and gave a thumbs up. "You look awesome!" Amethyst told them. "Aw, thanks!" Steven hugged Kunzite. "Oh! Hi, Steven!" They said and hugged him back. "Is this the first time you two have fused?" Pearl asked. "No, they actually fused after Jade kicked them out of the house." "That explains why I saw a flash of light!" Jade said. "You saw them fuse?!" Jade shook her head. "I just saw the light when it happened. I didn't see you, though."
"Good. They really wanted to surprise you."
"I'm very happy for you two," Pearl told Kunzite. "Thanks, Pearl. Topaz and Coral are happy, too."
