They went back inside, Garnet entered her room, while Jade made her way to the couch. It wasn't until Garnet's door had closed, that Jade noticed her friends sitting by the window, staring at her with wide eyes. "G-guys? You were watching us?!" She asked. Topaz burst out laughing. "Yeah! You're dating Garnet now?" Jade's cheeks grew brighter in rage. "Wh-why were you spying on us?!" She growled. "To see what you were talking about, duh! Looks like we didn't need to help them after all!" Coral joked. "Help us?! What are you talking about?!"
"After you told me that you had a crush on Garnet, I told Coral. Then we agreed that we should help you tell her how you feel." As Coral and Topaz kept laughing, Jade grew angrier. "I'd poof you guys if I could," Jade said as she slumped down on the couch. She covered her face with her hands in embarrassment. Topaz and Coral looked at each other. "Jade, I'm sor-" Topaz started to say. "Leave me alone..." Topaz and Coral were in shock. They walked over to the door and left the house.
"Great, now she hates us," Coral said as she swung her legs over the banister of the porch. "Eh, she's just embarrassed. She'll get over it soon enough," Topaz replied as he sat next to Coral. "B-but... what if she doesn't? What if in a year, she's still mad at us?! I don't wanna lose my friend, Topaz!" Coral cried out and pulled at the fabric of her skirt. Topaz put his arm around Coral "We'll find a way to fix this. I promise," he said and pulled her closer.
