Pool day

There had been a mission everyday this week. Everyone was exhausted and.  Deserved a break.

It was the middle of summer and extremely hot outside,  so tony Decides to  have a party. - but not any old party no.

He was going to have a pool party, and all the avengers were invited...

Yeah it was hot, yeah it was great Weather for swimming and a bbq, but honestly. -tony was only interested in one thing. And That thing Just happened to be the super cute ripped super soldier who goes by the named  bucky.

Jarvis announced it to everyone, and in no time at all everyone was either jumping into starks pool, sitting by the side reading, or relaxing by the pool sun bathing with their feet in the pool..

Tony.  Sat waiting in anticipation for the soldier o come walking in , in his trunks, shirtless. And he was not disappointed.

After sam had chased steve into the pool and Thor decided To jump straight in creating a massive splash, Bucky strolled in. His Eyes brightens when he saw tony sitting in the pool. - just what he came for.

Steve saw Bucky as well and jumped out of the pool to greet him. He put his wet arms around his shoulders and guided him to the pool side. Just as Bucky was laughing at something steve had said. And Tony was admiring his beautiful smile from afar, neither of the three saw sam run up behind Bucky and push him in.

From the shock Steve tried to keep him upright and ended up losing balance and falling in after him. Sam was doubling over and clutching his chest from the laughter, and even some of the girls joined in as well (after tony checked that both men were okay.)

Tony swam over and pulled Bucky up before helping Steve. Bucky coughed and spat out a mouth full of water and Steve flared at Sam after thanking tony.

" what on earth made you do that Sam?!" Steve exclaimed before jumping out of the pool, grabbing sams legs and pulling him in as well.

That got everyone in the room laughing as Sam can to the surface with a pout. " only 'cause you're a super soldier," he muttered before getting out and sitting on one of the sun beds sulking.

Tony turned his attention to Bucky.

" are you okay?" He asked and Bucky sheepishly nodded thanki him again.

" there's no need to thank me, i only down what anyone else would have done"

" well thank you anyway tony." He looked down at his arm, he already felt really uncomfortable shirtless in front of everyone with the scars all over his shoulder and the metal arm, but he had completely forgotten about it when he saw tony. But now it bothered him again- and he couldn't help but think maybe it was the arm that furled Sam to Pick in him all the time.

Tony noticed how he tended up when he glanced down at the arm. He knew it was water proof, as he made it for him himself, so knew he was worried about it.

" Bucky, it's fine, nobody cares. And we all trust you, i things going to go wrong with this one."

Bucky looked up at him and smiled, grateful to have someone who could read him so well- though at times it was extremely frustrating.

" how do you... erm ..."

" go on"

" how do you live with the reactor?"

" it keeps me alive, I don't really have a choice."

Bucky face palmed mentally, of course - he knew that. Why does he always ask the most obvious and ridiculous questions?

" but it's worth having. After a while you get used to having an unnatural piece of metal in you, and it becomes apart of you. You just have to embrace it, and then you will Eva lot happier."

" thanks tony."

" you're welcome."

They moved closer to each other, and stayed like that for the rest of the evening.

One by one everyone else retired to their bedrooms and left the two alone by them selves.

Tony got out and sat on the edge of the pool next to Bucky who was still in it.

" thanks again tony, I don't know what I would do without you."

" you're welcome Bucky."

Tony closed his eyes and lent his head back, enjoying the last few rays of sun hitting his body.

" you look incredible," Bucky whispered.

Tony opened his eyes in shock and looked down at the soldier.

" what?"

Surprised and shocked to know that tony Hurd him, Bucky desperately tried to cover yo his mistake, desperately racking his brain to find something that sounded similar.

In a much older boicd, almost shouting he come up with

" I said your ass looks edible!"

He mentally face paled again, but harder.

" wait... no." He hung his head too embarrassed to look at him, and he looked away to hid the blush creeping up his face. He could feel his face warm under the stare of the other man.

" I'm glade you think so barns. I could say the same for yourself. "

This time Bucky looked staring at Tony,
" what?"

Mirroring Bucky's previous actions he shouted,

" I said your ass looks edible!"

Tony smiled at Bucky's reaction. Bucky turned around so he was standing in front of tony, a hand each side of Tony's hips.

Bucky looked straight up into Tony's brown orbs while tony stared straight back down into Bucky's icy blue ones.

Bucky lifted his head slightly, and Tony leant down to meet him half way. Their lips collided and Bucky moved his hand to cup Tony's face as Tony done the same to him to bring him forward.

Now tony was seriously glade he held a pool party!

And Bucky was glade that he finally found enough courage to walk around shirtless, and confess his feelings - even if it was a nervous mistake.
