How are we at 30 reads in three days?! Thank you! <3

Once Sirius had sat down at the table his three friends congratulated him, along with most of the house that was sat remotely close to him. James and Peter started on there meals without hesitation but Remus..he could through him. He knee, behind that cocky grin, he was scared - terrified. That was mainly what made Remus smart, he could read you like a book. No exaggerations - that will be prove in later years.

"You ok?" Remus whispered over the table whilst the feast was in full blown action.
"Yeah...just a little nervous that's all," Sirius said sheepishly.
"Don't worry about it,besides, it's a year till you have to go back any anger would have blown off. ..hopefully," Remus smiled.
"Cheers Lupin,"
"Don't mention it Black,"

The two then began to eat.

Nothing else interesting really happened after that. A scroll was handed out to every first year during desert of who there dorm-mates would be. Luckily, they all got each other.

James was elated. Honestly, he had never felt better. He was sorted into his desired house, he already had three amazing best friends who he shared forms with and the food was incredible. He was told the food was made by house elves. If that was true, merlin could they cook.

Peter was quite happy too. Obviously, he wasn't as happy as James because he had originally wanted hufflepuff. But atleast he had Remus to keep him and the others same tonight - he was already telling them to stop playing with there foods causing them all to laugh.

Remus was content. His day has started off bad but atleast it was ending on a good note...currently. He knew it wasn't long till he got another urge to cut. But he could just like himself in the bathroom and cast a silencing spell that he had learnt from a book a while back, it 'helped' immensely.

Sirius was..okay. He was away from his family and there dreaded opinions and that's all that mattered currently. Atleast, here at Hogwarts, he felt more safe then he did it home. He couldn't say he felt very safe because...the truth was...He didn't. He knew getting sorted into Gryffindor would cause a fucking family riot. But...things were looking okay.

Little did he know, there were a few bumps in years to come before he found his true comfort.

After desert, Dumble...Dumble...Dumbledore yes that was it! He made a speech. One of those long, boring ones about love and compassion. No eleven year old wanted to hear that type of stuff. Girls wanted to talk about make-up and boys. Boys wanted to talk about Quiditch and who was the hottest teacher. But, as they grew older this would change dramatically.

"And remember, happiness can be found in the darkest of times...if one remembers...to turn on the light," He finished - blowing out a candle and sending them all off to bed.

They all got up and were lead by the Gryffindor prefects. Everyone was so tired yet so,so excited to find out what life at Hogwarts during the night was like.

Remus was now talking to Peter about Peter's home life, a long with the other two but they were just listening in.
"Sorry about that mate....hope you find some money soon," Remus said sympathetically.
"Cheers," He replied.

But suddenly, they heard a voice of a certain red-head making their way over.

"Hey Re!" Lily said excitedly
"Hey Lils! What's up?" He replied smiling at her - James mouth agape.
"Cool I got Dorcas,Marlene and Alice are yours okay?" She asked as they continued walking.
Remus pointed at the three beside him.
"Ohhhh, good luck and good night," She said before skipping off.
