The next morning, who would've guessed it, Remus had to wake everyone up.
"C'mon you fat bastard get up!" He ended up yelling at James.
"Alright alright! Jeez I'm up potty mouth," James said and reluctantly got up and made his way into the bathroom. You could say, Remus spent ten whole minutes waking up Peter. Ten whole minutes. The thing was about little Remus was he woke up at 5AM every single day. So he could of just left right there and then. But, of course, he did not. "Sirius...Sirius come on you have to get up! Breakfast starts in fifteen minutes!" Remus said now obviously irritated with the lot of them.
"Right...righttttt," Sirius mumbled before falling over on his way to his trunk. It was only their first day, and they were already late.
Great.
Just,great.
Remus began thinking maybe befriending these lot wouldn't have been a good idea after all.

Once they all had (finally) gotten out of the dorms, they hastily made there way down to the Great Hall for breakfast. When they arrived, the other three hadn't really had time to get a from before Peter was already guzzling down some sausages with his hands in one fine chew. "Are you even tasting your food?" Remus questioned biting into an Apple ( he never really had an appetite in the mornings - or whenever people were watching him).
"Y-yes," Peter said biting into some bacon, Remus screwed his face up in disgust.
"What's wrong?" James asked.
" Always hated meat, " Remus replied surprisingly he thought. But not even ten minutes after they had say down, it was time to head for their first ever lesson, charms.
The charms classroom was quite dull to be fairly honest, even Remus could admit that. There first task was to levitate a feather. And of course, no one could do it, not even Lily and Shape - accept Remus that was.
James had been trying for ages.
"Look, look, look," Remus said getting out his feather and wand. "It's swish and flick," He said and as he did the feather began to levitate into the air. The whole classes looked over at what he was doing. "Well done Mr Lupin!" Said Professor Flitwick cheerily, gaining ten points for his house.Sirius smacked him on the back, "Well done mate!" He said grinning at him".
Remus turned beetroot red, "Thanks."***
Their next class was Transfiguration with Professor Mcgonagal, they were quite excited about it.
But their excitement was short-lived due to the fact they were not actually casting any spells in that lesson, they were learning the rules of it and how dangerous it was if you were not paying attention, looking at the four boys as she did so.
She was the person to give them their first price of homework, a 3inch essay on the importance of transfiguration and why we must be safe when we do it. No one really liked her after that.
When everyone left the classroom, Minerva sighed to herself. She knew there was something different about those four boys. She just...knew it. They were young, yes, but there was something in them that, it seemed, nobody else had. They giggled and had their moments but, whatever it was, it stood above that. She smiled, maybe they weren't as bad after all. But that's when her thought drifted somewhere else. What would happen when the boys found out about Remus' ....condition. She scolded herself for calling it that, would they leave him? No. They didn't seem like the type of people to do that. And she set to work, marking some fifth years essays....
