.:. Few days later .:.

Russia [America] was walking down an old dirt road, walking- or should I say 'Naruto' running- when he suddenly tripped, as would be expected, and fell into a very deep ditch. Or hole. A pit?

Germany had finally found it. On the second floor, twelfth alley, third shelf. In the public library near his house. He had taken the book and sat in the nearest chair to read, wincing upon sitting. Ever since the new year party over at Scotland and Ireland's, his backside was in pain whenever the German sat down or got up. Although he had no known physical wounds anywhere near or on his backside.
After having read the book, his only thoughts were;

'God, this is going to be difficult'

America [Russia] was doing absolutely nothing. All day, the one thing that preoccupied him, was finding a decent book in America's home.

(For me, some states are adopted and others are not. For example, all of the main first states are 'biologically' related to America by blood in a manner of speaking, but others, such as Hawaii, are adopted and not related to America. For example, I'd consider alaskas Russia's child, only taken in by usafter it became american property. Or, for certain states, it's not even adopted, it's just an older person seen as a parental or older sibling figure.)

Tennessee was running along side Virginia, running because Minneapolis had been chasing the two for a prank they pulled on her.
Virginia tugged on Tennessee's hand, making the state turn a slight hue of red. Virginia hugged Tennessee, having finally lost the angry Minneapolis, who Alaska was now offering a drink. Which meant that by tonight, Alaska will most likely have vodka.
The tender moment was interrupted by a groan.
« Hey? Anybody there? »
Virginia recognized, somehow, America's voice in that sentence.
« Ma? That you? »
(Also, other quick note; I consider America to be sorta like a 'mother' to the states because eh.)

She asked, Tennessee looking slightly sadly at the ground.
« Uh.... Well, in a way? Yeah. » was the answer to her question.
« Wha'do you mean by that? » Tennessee asked, mentally pouting.
« Y'a better come see for yourself, then I'll explain. »
The two followed the sound of America's voice, only to be met with Russia, at the bottom of a ditch/hole.
« Oh! So you and Mr.Russia really did switch bodies! » Virginia exclaimed
« Wait... You knew 'bout that? » the country asked. Only to receive slightly awkward and guilty stares as the two states lifted him up. The trio started to walk along again, unknowing getting lost, as they chatted on what had been happening during the real America's absence.

Germany was talking with South Korea, asking where Japan, who could not be found, was. Germany needed to find Japan, because, for America and Russia to go back into their respective bodies, he would need help from the hyper-active Japan. But to no avail. Cause the ever-so-friendly Korean did not know the whereabouts of Japan.
