The proposal

Chapter :1

A/N: this is all from my imagination .if it by occarance similar to someone else work it is by chance. People, places, and situations are from the authors imagination . When growing up everyone dreams of spreading  their wings . To move away from the island  .For Lacey all she wanted to do now is to go home.

Now boarding 4:30 flight to Hawaii

Lacey sprinted down the corridor towards the security gates. Wedges were not made to run in but there's exceptions . Victoria waited for her at the loading gate.

"Took you long enough" she huffed as security handed me my carry on bag. I clutch its worn handle.

They finally boarder the plane the studardess 
That greeted us had a warm smile and calm voice. Hello ,welcome United  Airlines flight 194 .we are happy that you chose to fly with us today. Please find your seats if you need anything just ask for me. I'm Nicole and I will be your stuardess for the duration of this flight.

Ms. Miller this way the studardess said. I followed her to the first class section. She winked as walked saucily walked away.

I sat down not bothering to look at my seat number it's been a long night . I must have dozed off  a large hand touched my shoulder . I woke up with a shock . I hit him knocking him into the stuardess cart splashing cold refreshments upon him. 

His shocked expression as he whiped off the liquid for the crotch area of his suit pants. I tried to help him but he slapped my hand away mumbling as he went toward the bathrooms to clean up.

A tall gentleman in a suit that was tailored just for him. He had emerald green eyes with long arburn bangs . He was handsome but not really her type. He sat in the empty seat next to her.

"Ms. Miller I presume . I'm william James Taylor all my friends call me James.
Nice to finally meet you. I have all kinds of awesome things about you. "This felt more like a job interview than a casual encounter.

You know about me I presume but I know nothing about you. Who are you like some secret agent and you going to kill me . It all spilled out as my lungs tried to catch air.

"Why does everyone think I am the mafia and just kill people . "He ruffled the short hair in the back of his hair. " do I look like the bloody mafia or something . Zander says the exact thing all the time ."

Sorry to be blunt but you do the pin striped suit and the pointy black shoes you look like a Irish mafia boss. As my friend Victoria would say:

"stripes are not your best friend . So let the animals have their style cause it ain't for you ,boo boo."

Victoria has her dream job as a fashion designer .We been best friends with Victoria since the first grade . I came to school with bright pink sparkly boots. my mom got me them for my birthday . I adore them so I wore them to school. Victoria said they so go with your outfit and been best friends since.

Where was victoria anyway?

I searched around the seats to try to see her messy bun. I couldn't find her.

James cleared his throat "don't worry this won't take long then you can go see her."

I always do my homework I hate to be unprepared for anything. He sounded like a psycho killer had he been hired by ..,Paul my ex.?

"Were you hire by Paul ?" I asked as terror filled her . I wasn't going back to him at any cost. That man was toxic.

"Who's Paul?" James asked a puzzled look came upon his features. With A sigh of relief
I relaxed some.

"My ex" not making eye contact I mumbled
Trying to find an escape this has become awkward.

"Don't know him but I know about you" he started to read off her personal information . Who was this dude and why was he had so much personal information upon her.

"You were prior an editor.. let go due to cut backs he read I'm sorry to hear that . So you already know the publishing world ... good. Pretty face.. nice smile .. and amazing body."

She felt uncomfortable at his assessment ."
What is this all for?"

"All in due time my dear he smirked ..... now this is introsting .... you were the women's mma champ for two years pior to retirement for the sport.  Your perfect" James face lite up with excitement

The angry gentleman that she had spilt the liquid upon came back in different suit pants. His scowl said it all he was furious.

This was going to be introsting . She muttered under her breath

"I have a proposal for you ms. Miller" James said

"What kind of proposal "

His smile widened ..he had dimples...
