Lacey's P.O.V

He gonna be ok that's a relief. Snuggling closer into Tadeo's warmth. Thank you for this I couldn't have done this without you. We were as if in our own little bubble . Holding onto this moment at any moment it would pop and reality would return with a vengeance.

Tadeo softly kiss the top of my head " I will always be here for you. is it true your engaged to that "suit".

I looked at my hands " I don't know what to tell you".

He grabbed my hands firmly but gentle . The other day at the beach I chickened out. But not today I will not let you go without a fight. Lacey Miller I love you and always have. I ran towards the exit down out of the hospital there was no sign of Alex " Alex" I shouted . A hand came over my mouth. He whispered in my ear " we're done I thought you felt the same way as I did . I'm sorry for blurting out our engagement . I just thought... never mind . Our contract is done after the banquet where we announce our break up. He let go and walked off . I felt like hallow u cried when Victoria found me on the bench.

Mom told me to go home hours ago.

Zander: hey man I'm leaving for home tommorrow after the banquet!

James: ok why?

Zander: I told Lacey that this whole thing is over

James : how she take it ?

Zander : I don't know

James: I'm gonna ask Victoria on a real date when they get back to the states.

Zander: you never date

James: times change my friend so do people. Maybe tear up the contract and actually ask her on a real date and give it a real chance. Oh and that Paul dude got silenced

I sat in my old worn snuggly pjs my mom bought for my a few Christmas ago. Victoria was braiding my hair as her phone dinged.

Victoria : girls night

James: you can paint my toes if I can come over

Victoria : pretty in pink shade of pink

He arrived with California rolls and pork egg rolls . K my parents know I'm not pure but don't have it in my parents house. They will go nuclear. He nodded as she climbed into his lap. Tadeo was on the front porch. I'm sorry he gave Lacey a flower. It means sorry . He said sheepishly. Leaned in slowly .He kissed her more deeply as the door opened and James stepped " he dude she not interested in you sorry so take your shit and leave."

Lacey laughed "Tadeo I'm going to need a date Tomorrow your up for a date?"
Sure he trumphantly brightens up as he glares at James.
