Chapter : 29

Third person P.O.V

As normalcy  once returned in our crazy mixed up life . We tried the family dinner once again but this time as a family gathering in form of a bbq . My dad and mom teach Janet how to grill outside . This is going to be rememerable as it seems she has never seen the inside of a kicthen in twenty years. The last time was when Alex had the chicken pox. Simone's girls are simply adorable .They ran around the back yard chasing their new uncles Chad  and Gabe .
When Alex introduced water guns into the game .Everyone attacked one another even squirting Janet who actually laughed. She took off her pumps and joined the game chasing the kids their joyous laughter was contagious.
Simone hugged Lacey "thank you for bringing my family together".

Our laughter is cut short by a loud shot rang out. Gabe and chad were covering the girls and Janet the staff ran around aimlessly . Lacey made her way through the cayous .. she. Found Alex she checked him for and holes or marks. His eyes filled with rage that I have ever witnessed before. There in his arms is Simone "she pushed me to the side."Richard was besides himself calling for ambulances chad steered the girls away from the area. Gabe went in search for the culprit. Chad had pressure to Simone's abdomen. Billy ran to the front to wait with Richard for the ambulance. Poor Janet just paced and prayed . She would stop for a mere second and start all over. The medics arrived and put her upon the gurney "she's as lip as a rag doll."billy said as they loaded her into the ambulance . Richard went with simone in the ambulance.  We would stay with the kids. Gabe loaded up Janet and Alex in his car and followed the ambulance. I stared with my parents giving statements to the police that arrived as they took off.

Well that's eventful! Billy exclaimed . That seems to be a norm when they get together Lacey states. Billy, roseMary, and Lacey's cell simontaious rang at the same time.

Billy put it on speaker. The gym is ablaze.
Lula screams . We raced to the my moms mini van. We sped til we got to the gym came into sight .. thick black clouds bellowed forth from the flames. The flames ingulfed the buildingwe had grown to love.we watched our hopes turn into ashes before our eyes.i called Alex
"Alex the gym is gone somone set it on fire"
"I'm sorry ,my love ,are you ok?" He asked
"Yes"

"Then we can always rebuild I can't replace you my love."he stated I had tears in my eyes ..bye Alex . Lula ran towards us "I'm sorry I was walking home from work and I saw the smoke . The fire truck is a block away". Thank you my friend. The fire chief informed us there is nothing could be done . "The fire will under investigation"is the only answer they could supply us with .

This couldn't be any coincidence two major so called accident hours apart. Lacey muttered under her breath.
