Chapter :25

Lacey's P.O.V

As we walked out the door we heard Paul's screams down the corridors. I finally got the closure I always dreamed of. At what price though I contemplated as we jumped into James red mustang. Gabe drove us to the gym. 

I treated the boys to coffee and eclair's . I felt the tension melt away .every chocolate bites of this delectable pastry is better than the first. I moaned as I ate every bite. The guys were staring at me weirdly. " your having a good-gasm in a public place " Gabe lectures.

James laughed " I miss ,my Victoria, she does the same thing with honey buns"

We laughed as we finished our coffees. Thank you guys for this . They smiled as they followed into the gym James taking weights as Gabe hit the treadmill. If they weren't bothers to me I would be bothered . They were in great shape . As they shed their shirts off they had identical tribal wolf tattoos upon their back. James had carnage and Gabe had desolation. I chuckled only Gabe would desolation. Desolation means emptiness ;anguished misery or loneliness.

That pertains a lot to gabe's personality he is calculated, matriculate, and a born leader. As I was lost into my thoughts I heard a familiar voice " my princess"turning to see my dad and mom in the doorway  . I dropped the papers once again and rushed towards them.  " mom and dad!"

They hugged me " we were tired of you being so far away so we're coming to you, we own this place!"

Mom shook her head " that sweet man helped your dad buy this place."

Who ?

"Alex of course "Gabe and James said as they shook dads hand. You knew he bought the gym and you didn't say anything!

Hey where not going to spoil a surprise. Wait til she finds out the other surprise.gabe said " she gonna flip shyt once she knows that James laughed. I glared " talk or your going to be castrated look"they both squirmed. Lacey kept this information for future references ;James is horrible at keeping secrets .

He bought your apartment complex so you two can move in together. So that explains all the construction upstairs . He's merging the two apartments to one flat.

The nerve trying to control my life. Fury flowed through my veins .. that controlling ass bought my apartment complex assuming I would move in.

" Gabe would you like to go to dinner with me?

The shocked looked upon his face is priceless. " what your with Alex.?"

No !I broke up with him til he figures out what  Chantel thing is over. I said confidently. I'm going to show that ass that he cant control my life. Are you going to help me or I will find someone that will actually help me. .

Gabe swallowed loudly ... Lacey this is not a great idea you don't want to push him too far.
Push him to far i fumed sounding  childish to play "the blame game."I didn't care he infuriated me. he's the one with a baby on the way and he is manipulating my life when he has no right to be. I'm not going to put my life on hold as he sorts out his shit. I'm not his pawn he can just play games with. I will show him .. as I showed Paul.

"Calm down firecracker." James cooed.

Don't do anything hasty ,sweetheart, your pissed and hurt .let's bring you home so you can think about this. Clearly. Gabe suggested .

Live a little Gabe for once. James laughed at my comment.gabe scowled "if that's what you want to be in control of your life."

Then Let's go you got one hour to dress ..I smiled kissed him on the cheek. He blushed perfusley like a school boy. When I went to change I could still hear James scolding Gabe" she's our brothers girl."

"I know he has her best interest at heart but his controlling tendencies will tear them apart."Gabe stated"find  out what Paul is up to please ."James gave a fake salute as he left.

I pressed against the cold cement wall. So their on his side .  I called up Lula

Lacey: hey roomie

Lula: hey long time no hear roomie.

Lacey : sorry I need a favor I need you to save me. 

Lula: who and what's involved.?

Lacey told her the whole situation. Only omitting the part about Paul.

Lula: c u soon then?!

Lacey dressed and slipped out the back door . She ran in heels towards the alleyway entrance.
Lula was in her Nissan. Thanks roomie I owe you. I smoothed our my hair. " no prob I had nothing to do but paint my nails."

I felt a little bad for bailing on Gabe but he is only doing this for his brother. I felt careless and irresponsible .since meeting Alex I had that I had aged twenty years in only a few weeks. I finally going to have fun.
